Its 400/1, not 300/1. If you're lucky, you can get 350/1 with a lot of crying on WCE. Last week was 425/1. You can always wait years to buy for 300/1, but that usually do not happen. (Good luck trying to force ppl to sell well bellow the price)

Weird that PC is so high.

100:1 on Xbox. Occasionally you can sell for 125:1 if someone is despirate

PC is higher because people have more gold. It is really easy to make money with add-ons.

For as long as I can remember, it was roughly 180:1 on PC/NA and somewhat similar on PC/EU. Addons have been available for PC platform since launch so I really do not think it's that. It was never as high as it is now until this year (around Jan 2021).

As has been said, I think add-ons (for crafting, finding survey locations, trader prices, etc.) make it easier to make gold on PC and thus the Crown price 180-200:1 on PC NA for so long while it was 80-100:1 on consoles. From what I saw, enabling gifting of housing last fall caused the price of Crowns on PC NA to soar, which makes sense. I had expected that the price would come further back down after some time and Crown sales, but maybe the return of more desirable items through the Crown store has kept the price up. For as long as I’ve been playing (mid-2019) I have heard that the Crown price on PC EU has been much higher but I have no idea why that would be the case.

I hear your angle. Anything surely has an effect, rates were so low for literally years it doesn't make sense to me that addons would have such a huge impact. Not much has changed there really over the years. I am not sure exactly why crowns are still much cheaper on consoles vs pc other than sellers gouging prices, but I can see why many would think of addons but surely it's deeper than that. I feel like one obvious effect is the stickerbook having a lot to do with it. It wasn't until the gear collections "stickerbook" came out and we can literally make as many copies of whatever gear we collect via transmute cost instead of buying from other players. There is not as much need to buy gear as it once was. Market prices on sellable gear, etc, has skyrocketed since that feature came out and understandably so since there isn't as much demand for the supply. As an example, Deadly Daggers price has increased substantially. I bought mine before the stickerbook and paid about 230k golded for precise trait, now it's easily 1-2million+. Stickerbook no question ties into the increased gold cost of buying gear, etc on traders and more gold in circulation thus a trickle down effect into price increases in crown rates.
