Control companions and pets' movement with Y key in combat

I can see when companions come out there will be a lot of complaints about companions just stand in red and die

why not allow us to have better control of companions movement so we can tell them to get the heck out of certain death zones?

I agree with having good control but I think you are suggesting the same means to control everything.

Just imagine how hard it is going to be console players using a controller only. Don't know of anyone who directs their pets at all lol.

Because console doesn’t have a free button for that. All of them are already in use. You could give us another two-button-combo, but they’re already quite clunky on console.

Because console doesn’t have a free button for that. All of them are already in use. You could give us another two-button-combo, but they’re already quite clunky on console.

Don't see why keyboard users should be restricted to what can be done on a console
