Help! The Pyrelord in Vateshran Hollows

Help!

Somehow I never kill The Pyrelord in Vateshran Hollows. I can burn him down until 30% but then I get overrun by trash mobs somehow.

Someone has a good strategy for orcish DK DPS (alcast build)?

I've already cleared the other two wings. I think the mobs are more agressive now. They throw me into the magma part of the western part of the platform.

If you don't already have the Ring of the Pale Order, farm for it. Makes surviving a lot easier.
Try out Razor Caltrops; the AoE Breach and decent damage can help bring down tougher enemies.
Make an effort to kite the small skeletons around the Pyre Lord and let your AoEs deal with them; the big skeletons aren't much of a threat with some healing (RotPO).

Oh and if you're stamina, you might want to try the order of Blue (Wounding), Red (Brimstone Den), Green (Hunter's Grotto) and get the health and stamina orbs. If magicka, go Green, Blue, Red.

You can also just take the fight a little slower by killing the big bone *** when they spawn. They spawn the little skeles, so if you eradicate them you won't get overrun but double adds later in the fight.

Ignoring the bone goliath things and minor skeletons to just burn the boss is a strategy for clearing faster, but not easier. Clear the adds, then burn the boss if you're struggling.

lol, apparently I learned a new word the forum censor doesn't like today... "big bone meanies" doesn't quite have the same ring to it, but I suppose it'll have to do.
