Furnishing plan drop rate

Hey so in case the news hasn't hit some of you yet the drop rates of furnishing plans has universally gone down by quite a bit. This is very bad because there are a lot of plans that were already almost impossible to get like the Ayleid, new Dwarven (not talking about the ones from dailies), and Khajiit Brazier, Enchanted plans. Making everything rarer so that only a VERY lucky few make money and people can't actually farm for them if they want them is so obviously [snip]. They should have made them more common not less common. PLEASE fix this ZoS, either that or simply give everyone the plans when they make a new character because that is actually less ridiculous than making furnishing plans this hard to get. Housing is already prohibitively expensive, and you are alienating a lot of people who spend a lot of money on housing.[snip]

The drop rates on these have not been adjusted to either drop less or more.

Tbh plans such as Khajiit brazier , Enchanted aren’t appealing for the look but for the rarity. If you do housing to decorate or whatever it really doesn’t matter. It’s mainly for collectors. I do housing quite a bit. I’ve pulled the brazier and sold it because I have no desire to use that item. Not hard to find something that looks similar or even better. If you’re a collector then you know what it takes to get the rare stuff. Grind that gold. If you’re grinding everyday for prints and having no luck try grinding stuff to sell for a year and just buy them from the ones fortunate enough to get the drop.

[snip] With that said there still has been no change to the drop rates of incredibly rare pages outside of the CP slottable Homemaker ability.

That is your personal opinion. Your personal opinion should not influence what an entire community gets to do.

Patch notes for Update 29 on PS4 said that Markarth plan drop rate was reduced because those plans were dropping more frequently than intended.
    Khajiit Stamblade
    Dark Elf Magsorc
    Redguard Stamina Dragonknight
    Orc Stamplar PVP
    Breton Magsorc PVP

I was really disappointed with the drop rate in Western Skyrim last year. I've always found plenty of crafting plans with Elsweyr (even without farming), but regarding the Solitude or Vampiric furniture I've had to buy most of the crafting plans so far. I really hope that it will not be so tough with the new amazing furniture stuff from Blackwood.

The problem with Solitude was outside of the dwarven public dungeon there were no decent farming spots. There are decent farming spots in The Reach and whilst purples are not as common as I would like I do get plenty of blues, and have had a fair few doubles.

Am hoping for a decent farming spot in Blackwood.

And whilst I don't farm for hours at a time.i do make numerous visits to my various farming spots during the course of an evening and plans are still dropping.

I'd like to see you evidence showing the drop rate has reduced. And please, not any of this "I've talked with people and they say they heard someone say it had been reduced and they think they've been getting less plans"

Anecdotal evidence merely shows a lack of evidence. Start recording the number of urns, backpacks, desks, etc you are looting and the number of plans you are getting. Get others to do the same, pool the data to get a bigger population and present your findings.

I'm not saying rates haven't reduced. I'm saying show me the evidence.
