Add markers for group members in overland?

Why is it that only the group leader has a marker which is a crown on the compass but group members do not in overland.
Battlegrounds have them so it would be easily implemented is there a reason it isn’t?
It is fairly annoying when in a group of two just exploring overland to have to constantly check the map to find the group member if your group leader.
Xbox NA so addons not possible if there is one.

Like GW2, each group member is a dot on the map (and on the edge of the mini-map) and trying to find the person who says "The bounty is by me" requires hovering over a number of different dots to find the right one to move to.The Moot Councillor0 -

Do most people explore overland as a group of 12? Could it not cut off once you enter a large group?
Do they already show as dots and not arrows in overland?0 -
HalfRain216✭✭✭If you look at the map, they show up as carrots. They probably do on the mini-map as well, if you use that addon.
You can also see the carrots on your screen if you are relatively close to a group member. You might be able to adjust that in the settings.

1. I said I am on Xbox so we don’t have addons.
2. I said it was a pain to constantly check the map to find them if they are on the move exploring as the reason I would like them on the compass.0
