Returning to PC, mail won't update.

Hi all, I'm a ps4 player but am taking a break on PC. I played last year and now when I have returned my mail says it has unread stuff but nothing appears. Another player tried to mail things to me and was unable to because my mail is full. I'm not sure how to proceed to empty my mail.
