ZOS can we have in addition to group dungeon finder a solo dungeon finder as well?

I would like to get the same rewards while doing it solo. The rewards should be made automatic when soloing a normal / vet dungeon anyway while not using the finder. That would be a great QOL feature to implement.

    The rewards come from doing a random dungeon, in large part to incentivize people to backfill groups of random people. There's a certain level of risk to go with the reward. You might get Fungal Grotto 1 or City of Ash 2.

    So, do you want to solo a random dungeon with all the risk that entails?

    Or do you want rewards for soloing Fungal Grotto 1?

    You can travel to any dungeon and solo it any time you feel like it.

    If you want to solo it, just travel to it.

    Thank you, I do appreciate the positive response. I was looking out for those that like to solo. Might also be an incentive to spend more dollars on ESO in general. You never know.

    You're in a massive multiplayer online role playing game, not a single player TES game. The finder is to help people find groups and the random reward is to incentivize people not to pick specific popular ones when others want get from less populated dungeons. If it wasn't for the reward, I would spend my life in the prison waiting for a specific drop. With my limited time, I do a random because of the exp bonus. This helps other people because I am a legit tank, not a DPS fake tank. The exp bonus is in place so everyone gets the help they need.

    No, I wouldn't just ask for the rewards. You still have to complete the dungeon and earn it.

    Thank you for skipping right over what I said. You're already earning a reward of like 30k for the dungeon. The bonus reward is for helping out others.

    That's why I'm asking for a choice. Keep the one for group as is. However, all I'm asking for is for a solo choice or duo, to get in and out without waiting for four people. If you get four random people or preformed group, you wait and then start the dungeon. So what? There should be no difference if you want a solo option and yes with the rewards. You have to go in and earn it just like any other content.

    I can run a normal or vet and get whatever drops but by using something like a "solo" daily dungeon finder would be nice and give a change to the otherwise daily login and grind. Some of us just don't want to be in groups but would still like a chance at the rewards. Shouldn't be a big deal. You can't farm it since it is just once a day.

    If you look at this from the point of view that the game is rewarding you for grouping with other players and working together, and not for simply completing some dungeon, you will understand why they will not do this.

    The biggest point against this is that you are asking for a solo queue for 4 man content. Yes you can do it with less than 4. That's not the point. The point is it is designed for group play and the reward is for group play. Want the rewards? Group up. Its that simple

    Not me looking at it this way, ZOS. I am all for doing things solo and would love to be rewarded for it. I literally avoid doing dungeons all together for the most part, unless I really need something out of one, and even then I only do it with friends/guildies.

    My best suggestion, get a nice guild... doing dungeons with guild mates is soooo much more fun, relaxing and rewarding. No one griping if you want to loot every bag/chest/cabinet you see (we actually tell our guild members too, because it will make you rich), taking time to earn the achievements, complete the quests, or just poke around a bit to check the view if it is your first time through. Just an all around more relaxed environment, and there are speed runners too, but everyone knows going in exactly what they are getting into, unlike random normals via the group finder.

    Alternatively, I believe with the new system if you have a second account ($5-10 depending on where you buy it) and the new companions, you will have a 4 person group of your own to queue with.. I think. Just leave the second account at the entrance and go for it. Extra bonus being, you can almost always get the easiest dungeon if you keep the extra account level 10 and have no DLC's on it!

    I'm all for solo players getting the rewards for a Daily Random Solo Dungeon.

    Of course, there are dungeons that can't be soloed (Direfrost Keep), rely on luck to solo (White Gold Tower), or have group mechanics that make it very difficult (Fungal Grotto 2, Crypt of Hearts 2).

    So if ZOS created a Daily Random Solo Dungeon, they might actually have to look at some of those.

    They are rewarded for going there. They gain experience for mob killed and loot from each mini-boss and boss slain. That is the reward. They should not be granted a bonus reward for that is designed to be an incentive to help others by joining a random. That defeats the purpose for even giving a bonus reward out.

    I believe this would be a bad idea. The bonus incentive is to help people socially interact, since it is an MMO and all.

    Hmm, I really think ZOS should be finding more ways to bring players together more to social interact instead of less. Something that most modern MMO's these days are missing.

    That's the point. The reward is for the risk of the random dungeon. It's the risk of getting City of Ash 2 instead of Fungal Grotto 1.

    Now, yes, the random dungeon queue is used to backfill groups who lost members or to fill the groups of people who queued for specific dungeons, but that's not the reason why rewards are given out.

    The reward is given out for the risk of the random dungeon, and the fact that fully premade groups who queue for the random dungeon get the full rewards is proof of that.
