Anyone use "map pins" add-on? mine shows no chests for Western Skyrim

If you use Map Pins, do you see treasure chests in Western Skyrim? Mine shows nothing. I was wondering if its a bug in the add-on or that if its just some problem I'm having. Thank you for checking!

Double check your filter options. About 2 weeks ago my filter option were auto changed for some reason.

Harvest Map shows chests correctly, Map Pins just shows like a million chests at spots they never spawned in my experience, although rarely there was a pin in the right place. Haven't checked Skyrim, but in Vardenfell I am only seeing a few from Map Pins, and all but one of them is wrong.

You will wonder how you got along without it. Make sure to also download the HarvestMap data addon, that will allow you to download all the spawns in the game for your map with a batch or PowerShell script it includes (its safe to run). It was just recently split into a separate addon, not sure why.

thank you. I got it all downloaded. I noticed that HarvestMap had no skyshards. (map pins had all the skyshards) So i had to download the skyshard add-on which had 5 dependencies, and one of those dependencies had 2 more dependencies. lol.

I executed the powershell script and it completed with no errors, however, there was absolutely nothing on my map. So I went in and manually copied the zone module files into my savedvariable folders and it worked like a charm!

So actually, Map Pins and Destinations are somewhat competing addons that give you the unexplored areas and each has some other features the other doesn't. HarvestMap on the other hand, I am not sure at this point if any other addon competes with it, as it is entirely about farming/harvesting anything lootable in the game (other than mobs). It will also create an effective farming route for you on your map!

Oh, I almost forgot, down under your Libs there should be one named NodeDetection. If you enable it, HarvestMap can show you only the nodes that are spawned at the moment instead of all the possible spawn points. This doesn't work for treasure maps, heavy sacks or thieves troves though.

Map pins addon is nice, but at some point chest locations stopped updating. So it only show potential spawn points for base game content and early dlc. For new dlc you have to find chests yourself and then it will be marked for the future
