Maelstrom Arena Groups : Hear Me Out (Don't Freak Yet)

I have been stuck in vet maelstrom arena since its been around, its the only thing I haven't cleared - my white whale so to speak.. I notice in there are deadra cheering from the stands, and I kinda think it would be cool to watch other players and to have moral support. I'm not proposing combat groups but I think it would be helpful to have spectators. I recently streamed it so someone could help me figure out a part I was stuck on and it occurred to me that it would be more fun if I wasn't dying over and over alone. Streaming isn't always possible and somewhat patchy for alot of folks...
I was stuck on ice giant for everrrrrrrr, have taken breaks, come back, taken breaks, and now I finally made it to the last round... I have accepted that I probably will never have a perfected inferno staff or bow, but I sure as hell plan to take the statue and put it in ever single one of my homes toilets if I ever manage to finish it.

I see you said streaming is patchy (I agree), but this seems like a lot of work for something that already has a remedy.

@furiouslog yeh I definitely tried but the stream was mega stuttering ; some times my internet wont cooperate.

I just think this would be a great feature and useful to folks who cant stream.

How do you stream it? When I use discord, it helps to reduce the video quality to 720p. When I set it on 480 it gets way worse for some reason.

I think spectator mode would be helpful in a lot of content.

Same for Trials.. Raid leader can be in spectator mode and help progression group out without being knee deep in mechs themselves.

Dungeon HM too for a sort of coaching. I'm a fan.

Spectator mode for things in ESO would be a great step forward imo.

Also, by way of encouragement, I was where you are when I first did it. I had big trouble in ice, poison, and final stages the first time I cleared it. Hang in there and ask around for advice. You'll get there.

One thing that helped me a lot was realizing that each stage needed a slightly different build in order to be most effective at clearing it. If you are mag, crushing shock and immovable pots can be your best friend on the final boss.

Even if you don't have your buds in the audience, they are rooting for you. Me too.

@rumple9 I'm on the final boss now; but its a painful long journey on the struggle bus.... Thanks for being super unhelpful though!

I mean there are loads of super easy mode builds that make vet maelstrom a piece of cake. Letting you ignore almost all minor mechanics and you can even survive a good amount of failed main mechanics.

I would really recommend you use one of these for first try.

Also I think streaming your point of view is alot more informative then only watching your animations from afar.

Just watch alcast videos and get better. I'm 100% pvp player, did vMA once, and got till las boss easy. For some reason round 5 I clear wih 2nd try. I got stuck at last boss for few weeks until i got my hands on pale of order ring. Then i was able to do last boss too 😂

I feel like if we had this spectator mode you'd be able to watch and see I'm doing mechanics and still can't finish LOL.

I've watched all the videos of people getting flawless naked with just heavy attacks and its just MIND BOGGLING & INFURIATING

Don't watch pve pros who know every spawn and action.
Listen to the people who struggled but found easy ways pale order on pet sorc heavy attack build and you cant really mess up any mechanics.

It took me a while to finally beat it as well. I cant tell you how many times I died to the last boss. Just have to keep at it until you do.

I put the statue in a burning brazier so he can burn for all eternity for the misery he put me through
