World Bosses resetting when I'm low on health (but now quite dead)

I figured this had to be a well known bug because it happens so often to me, but after bringing it up in guild chat and no one experiencing it, I thought I would ask here.
When I'm soloing a world boss they will reset if I get low on health, but don't die. No, I'm not kiting them out of their area or running from them, I'm not popping invisibility or losing agro in any other way. I'm just standing in the middle of their area, brawlering away about to hit my health potion because health is low and suddenly the boss fades out and resets. it's happened on a lot WBs, but Thannar the Graveprowler in Elsweyr and the Vampire Feeding Ground in Blackreach have done it a ton (It's even happened 2 personing the Vamps and me and other were both low).
Anyone else have this issue?

✭✭✭✭✭I remember a similar thread a while back about this topic, I believe it was determined in that case that the boss battle exceeded a certain amount of time and the boss reset.
I did a quick search of the forums but I was unable to find that thread.

I have same experience in 2014.My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.
