New Mythic - looks like a must for parsing

Harpooner‘s Wading Kilt - This will continuously increase your Critical Chance and Critical Damage for every second you are in combat without taking direct damage.

There will probably be a cap. This could be the new Thrassian Stranglers.

I feel like this would be kind of cheesing those parses even more than with old Thrassian.

That being said, an item that incentivises dps not to stand in red? Sign me up!

Also kinda scary for pvp, considering nightblades can stay in combat with cloak and not get hit :D.

    Without taking direct damage.

Why use this in a dummy parse when you more than likely won’t be using this in most trials/dungeons? It’s super niche and seems more suited for PVP crit builds, particularly for nightblades who can stay in combat but avoid direct hits by cloaking up.

Aren't those AoE damage and not direct? I don't know.

AoE and direct are not mutually exclusive. See jabs.

On another french website (https://desastreshow.com/sets-objets-mythiques-blackwood-teso/) , the item is described like this :
Doing direct damage grants you one charge of Hunter's Focus for 1 minute, up to 10 charges. You can only gain one charge per second. Each charge increases your critical changes by 119 and your critical damage by 2%.

A lot of crit damage, and not that much crit chance... (it's not 100% sure though, we'll see on the pts)
    I'm a single character man.
    Stamblade. Khajiit. Mostly pvp.
    And...that's it.

Most people parse in setups that they don't use in a real trial/dungeon anyways. People just like seeing big numbers. :D

This could be the new Thrassian Stranglers.

Which means it will be nerfed at the very next update following its release.

An interesting set, I wonder how many boss fights have entirely avoidable direct damage. Another set to raise the ceiling until it’s nerfed to death.

In many of the parse fights in trials you take no direct damage unless tank looses agro, so it's viable for parsing in trial and therefor not really cheesing a dummy. Spewer micromanagement in vCR will be all the more important now :P

I don't believe abilities that target the ground don't count as direct damage, and that's a major half of what hits you in dungeons and trials, so Mages in groups could really benefit from this when casting at range.

Something like that may even work out from my crit kitties. DEFINITELY want to see what it does for my MagSorc, though Archer NPCs sound like a problem. Arrows are direct damage.

It depends upon what you mean by "abilities that target the ground."

There are AoE DoTs that would not count as Direct Damage but there are TONS of Player and boss damage abilities that are both AoE and Direct Damage.

AoE and Direct Damage are definitely not mutually exclusive categories.

      I will be honest.

New items are looking very tempting, but for a solo play (what I do the most) - it will be hard to beat Ring of Pale Order.

It all depends on numbers though.

Maybe the health recovery ring will be good (depending no "how much" health recovery, health & armour it gives). But Pale Order ring will most likely still be better.

Transformation Ultimate ring cost reduction is kinda pointless (good only for RP). All depends on how much recurses it will give. Personally, I would like it to increase the cost of ultimate, but gave some nice bonus once transformed.

Blood Scion MagPlar is a pretty strong spec for Battlegrounds, seems like this Mythic might be great for them.

There is a figure floating around that claims to reveal how it's tuned. I don't want to post it here but you can find it with some Googling.

Don’t worry a simple gust of wind is enough to pull nightblades out of Cloak nowadays so you have nothing to worry about.

Sithis mythic: might be amazing for feeling like a juggernaut style tank without block.

Shapeshifters chain: first one I'm getting for my werewolves and vamps. Gonna be so fun. Vamps can already get scion cost super low.

I have no interest in an item that will inevitably fall down the same dark hole as Thrassian Stranglers. I'm not wasting my time having fun with these mythics only to have the rug pulled out from under my feet.

Monster sets are already ruined so it would be nice to slot a Mythic item to make it a little more interesting. Not taking direct dmg can be tricky in some fights and easy in others so its probably a situational item anyway.

The Death Dealer‘s Fete and Gaze of Sithis could also be pretty strong, depending on the final values and durations ofc.

Death Dealer‘s Fete - The longer you are in combat, the more it increases your resources. If you are out of combat, you will loose those stacks of resources.

Gaze of Sithis - This adds a ton of Health and Health Recovery, additionally to a great amount of armor. It will reduce your Block Mitigation to 0, though.
