Frequent Crashes

Recently, several times/session the game has been crashing to the screen that asks you to describe what you were doing when the crash occurred. This AM while I was trying to complete all my crafting writs before the Anniversary event ended, these crashes happened 5 times. These generally happened almost immediately after I had loaded a character that had been left in the Alinor crafting area, before I could open the tools menu to eat the cake. Such crashes have occurred in many other areas, generally while the character was doing something non-stressful, such as walking or even standing still, with few or no other players in the area.

Yellow_Monolith✭✭✭✭✭I've had this too. 4 days ago I completed all my writs in Alinor on 11 characters. Then before logging out, 1 was moved to Grahtwood. Now I can't log in on the 10 characters that have been left in Alinor for the last 3 days without the game crashing before log in.0 -

Ofc I'm playing the PS4 EU version on a PS5.1 -
Rastaman111✭✭Same to me, I can`t play the game anymore.
Can get to the character screen and load the game but during the loading the game crashes and then getting the dreaded error code: ce-108255-1
playing the PS4 EU version on PS5.
Have contacted Eso support they can`t seem to find the problem , and now have contacted Sony to see if they can find the problem. Hearing from multiple here and on twitter and websites having the same problem1 -
Rastaman111✭✭ok well. After the last PS5 update on Tuesday left me unable to play the anymore.
Probaly have to cancel my ESO plus for a while until this is fixed1 -

✭✭✭✭Crashed with error reporter 5 times this morning in the span of an hour logging onto alts for writs. In every case, it was a different character, and the character appeared in game but took only a step or two before the error reporter appeared. I could get back in after reopening the game. I hadn’t seen an error report crash in several months.

Yellow_Monolith✭✭✭✭✭Interesting. So far I've seen all the reports of the crashing loading in has been on PS5 with the PS4 EU/NA server version of ESO and on PC also on NA/EU server.0

✭I haven't had any crashes on PC NA but my wife has just been kicked from the game( no crash report just client shut down like she hit exit) on my older PC. That happened to her twice in the last few sessions. I haven't had any on my newer PC but the "requesting character load" has been getting ridiculously long of late with it now taking 30-60 seconds at times before i get to the actual loading screen. When i first got this PC 2 years ago, I could log out of one character and be playing another in 20 seconds and that is if i had the logout timer.
I almost feel like the login server is on its last leg or something.Edited by ThorianB on April 16, 2021 6:07PM1
