Allow dungeon items into the guildstore

It is frustrating to be in the rat race of grinding new gear to stay competitive, why not just allow dungeon items to be sold in the guild store. This won't impact eso plus purchases because the crafting bag is the most sought after feature that veteran players want as well as bank space. Please take this into consideration zos it would be amazing if these items can be sold. Another cool feature would be to take away the item bound aspect, encouraging players to keep switching up their builds and if they don't want to play a build anymore they could just swap it out and sell their items.

Give the PVE players some love and more of a incentive to grind gear to make money. Also gives pvpers a chance to try out more gear because I know that some pvp players will not step outside of cyrodiil and will stick to outdated builds, get frustrated that they have to complete dlc content and just quit. One person gone is one person that will not see the crown store or eso plus.

You are frustrated and want those sets to be sellable in guild stores. Now guess how many others like you are out there.
A lot! Now you might think that would make it more likely that ZOS would implement this and perhaps you are right about that, but consider this:
    • if everyone can buy dungeon gear -> fewer people will be grinding dungeon gear -> meaning that demand will be high and supply low -> dungeon items, especially those of good sets, will be absurdly expensive -> only rich players benefit and everyone else would still be better off grinding
The only benefit is that niche items might become more accessible to fill your collection, but that is assuming people even pick them up and don't deconstruct them for style and upgrade materials.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

If this was the case I would likely take the easy road & buy bis stuff. Instead I am kinda glad I am required to go outside my comfort zone & try new content.

I agree, dungeon sets are rewards for doing the content. They should remain that way and I'm a casual. I would rather earn it.

An MMO needs a few things for long term survival. One is obviously new content. Right up there at the top though is players repeating content. That is why dungeon items are bound to group and why RNG is what it is. ZoS greatly improved the chance of us getting the gear we wanted when they gave us transmutation stations.

Another thing an MMO needs to survive long term is players participating in a variety of activities. That is why sets good for PvP can be found doing PvE.

Dungeon sets can't be sold in guild stores because it would be bad for the long term health of the game.

I personally think that's going too far, but I wouldn't mind it if we had some say in the sort of loot we got from dungeons.
Maybe have the option to increase the chance of loot based on type. So, more likelihood of getting weapons, or more chances of getting the dungeon's medium armour set.
    Think Destiny 2, Menagerie chalice...

Don’t get me wrong, I wish my RNG were better but when that Malstrom bow finally dropped, OMG! With the sticker book and transmutation and the way keys work from the Undaunted chests now it’s never been easier to gear up a character. These are all amazing QoL changes. And yes, some things are clearly weighted, looking at you inferno BSW staff, but I like having to run the content to get the gear. If getting the gear is too difficult what are you doing that requires BIS gear, its counterintuitive.

If they removed the binding aspect of gear, they'd have to nerf gear drops by 80%. So, for example, in a dungeon, only the last boss would drop a set piece.

In ESO, you can still swap bound gear to any of your alts.

In GW2, outside of the highest levels of gear, if you bind it, it's to a character and you can't even vendor or decon it at the end. It's very annoying.

Do I understand correctly that you cannot get the weapon you need from the dungeon? Kinras daggers?
Here the problem is rather in the low chance of a weapon drop.

No thanks, You already have a lot of good options in both overland and crafted gear. Some gear needs to have some personal work required to obtain.

Not a good idea, we have stickerbook which allows us reconstructing sets, all you have to do is to grind them once. Getting overland/dungeon sets on your other toons is easier than before, you just use some transmute crystals (which are farmed quickly by doing RNDs). Jewelry might still require some vet runs (upgrading blue to purple is expensive), but from my experience 1-2 runs is enough to get whole dungeon jewelry set.

If I complete a dungeon 100+ times, and still don't have the piece I want, dungeon difficulty is clearly not the issue.

After running the dungeon properly 100+ times, I got my first BSW inferno staff by cloaking and checking chest locations, over and over again.

I ran Arx Corinium 100+ times, and still no Medusa inferno staff.

My guild mate ran BC1 close to 200 times to get the Sanctuary resto staff. He didn't even get it to drop for him. One of his friends jumped in to help him, and he got it first try and gave it to him. 😂

The idea here is to encourage people to actually complete the content to get some of the best gear in the game. Now, whether dungeon/trial gear is the best gear in the game is debatable, but you get the idea. At a certain level, they want you to EARN your gear, not P2W with in-game currency.

It helps if you can round up 3 friends, because your chances of getting it go up 300% (assuming your friends are inclined to share - which, if they aren't, then you need to get new friends).

You're right, of course. But that doesn't completely solve the problem. What if you and your friends want the same piece? What if you're farming a set piece from a solo arena?
I personally don't mind the grind, but there were a few instances I mentioned above that were just ridiculous. xD

    1) Not everything in the game needs to cater to the Big Money Traders to make them ever more money.

    2) If you want the rewards for group content, you should have to do that content. (the motivation to run dungeons & trials shouldn't be "mah profits!1!!1!") And I say this as someone who doesn't do group content. Why should I have access to that gear, while also further lining Trader McMoneybags pockets?

...you'll still have the option of playing the content instead of buying the loot, though. What do you have against poor ol' Trader McMoneybags? 😂

I agree with the OP. I hate BoP. I understand that ZOS wants us to repeat content ad infinitum, but the RNG is so awful sometimes as to make grinding unbearable.

I get it, anyone who has been here long enough knows the pain. I grinded out Arx to get Medusa, took my buddy a 100+ runs to get the same staff I got in 20, everyone felt BSW staves. I have never seen a staff drop in vMA (100+, I’ve stopped counting) But if you take away the content and just buy the gear what’s the point? We can all stand around in Belkarth showing off our shiny new gear with nothing to run. What next trial gear, solo arenas, if all of the gear is available in GTs what are we playing for?
