I've accomplished a lot of hard fought content in ESO but Master Angler is by far my most glorious moment. It really tested my patience. When I first started working towards it I always had a little voice in my head saying I'll never fully complete it. When I finally finished it was a great feeling and makes for my happiest memory in-game to this day.

OK...this is probably trivial to most people, but for me it was hearing the dragons of Elswehr (when they were flying overhead) roaring out their battle cry on their way to landing. It still can bring me chills and happy memories of playing Skyrim in the 'old days'!

I must have done 90% of mine when I was in yet another pointless meeting on MS Teams at the start of lockdown.

Doubt I would have bothered it if wasn't for that!

    Good topic.

For me it's that quest in Orsinium about Gaiden Shinji's last duel.

And the day I convinced my best friend to join this game.

This quest and the story was awesome. I have bought a statue of the two duelists, which has now a place in my villa.

Really great quest from a great place.

When I got all of my magsorc skills back then. I felt like a king of the world, i could streak through mobs and annihilate them with my lightnings. Yeah it was silly but it's something I can still remember after 7 years, the ultimate joy of simple things :)

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

One of my favourite moments was exploring the beautiful beaches of Auridon back when I first picked up the game. It was fun testing out my class skills and struggling to beat mudcrabs. Also the Auridon questline is still my favourite.

I have some fond memories of the days of old. When I was new, the game felt new, the world was open to exploration. Where I took on the enemies threatening the Daggerfall Covenant while stopping Molag Bal on the side.

And once I was done with that step of my journey I would then take on the challenges for the other Alliances. Completing Cadwell's Silver and then Gold challenges, and after a long process with some trial and error I would complete the main questlines, then moving on to Orsinium and complete whatever challenge may be there.

... That was a long time though, now everything in the game feels mundane and somewhat shallow and disappointing. I guess I just miss the teeth the game had before One Tamriel came into play, and I also miss the time when I was new.

I feel ya there. That is such a good beginner zone. I feel sorry for newer players being dumped off in an expansion zones and not getting to original intro to the game via the Wailing prison and then the beginner zones. And of the three beginner zones, the AD one is definitely the best.

PC-NA since 2015. Tired and unimpressed.

Getting a good friend into this game I bought the game for her and she got really into it then she then made friends with other people who I also got to know through her and actually started to be social. I was a fully solo player for years used to never even bother with any group content.

I have a video clip of it. Back when I barely knew how to PvP, I was being chased by two players. I jumped off a cliff, onto little rocks by the water, and somehow managed to get both players to fall off the rocks, one by one, and get devoured by slaughter fish. The rocks were high enough that once you fell, you couldn't get back up. I remember thinking to myself, damn. I should get into the 1vX'ing business. 😂
And that's where the clip ends. What I didn't show is the part where I realised that there was no way back up, and I had to follow the other 2 players into the water...
