[HELP/Need Opinions] Armor Sets for BG Necro Healer

billywink3b14_ESO
Hello!

I'm going to be mainly healing in Bgs on my Necro and need some advice for gear. I really, I'll be honest, get so overwhelmed once I hit max lvl. I have re-rolled so many characters and leveled back to 50 lol. The whole gearing situation is a lot.

So... What am I mainly looking for?

From my research it seems I should get 1 full (5pc) set of HA with things like, armor, max health and/or + healing done/taken.

I looked up this set:
https://eso-sets.com/set/brands-of-imperium.
I feel like it would be a good one as the proc can be useful and I feel like I'll more than likely always be getting hit. So it'll be up every 6 seconds practically.

For a second set, from my research, it seems a sustain set is needed. These came up in my search: These would be weapons/jewelry.

https://eso-sets.com/set/lamias-song - The proc would be helpful in group settings and i feel like it would be really helpful in BGs? Also all the magicka regen and max magicka seems useful.
https://eso-sets.com/set/hitis-hearth - I also felt this would be a really useful set as well.

I looked at crafted sets too: these all seem like they'd be useful but I feel like they are "selfish" in the sense that there are no helpful group procs like from the dungeon sets above.

https://eso-sets.com/set/ancient-dragonguard
https://eso-sets.com/set/armor-of-the-seducer
https://eso-sets.com/set/fortified-brass
https://eso-sets.com/set/magnus-gift
https://eso-sets.com/set/shacklebreaker

Do you all think I could be successful running Imperium Armor + Lamia or Hitis Weapon/Jewelry? Are the crafted sets better to shoot for? Maybe Shackle + Fortified? Or Shackle + Imperium?

Any help is appreciated and please, if there are any sets that work for you that are not mentioned above let me know how they work for you. I need ideas!!!! BEFORE I RE-ROLL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imperium is an interesting PvE tank choice, but I don't think it holds up well in No-CP PvP.

I would recommend either Fortified Brass (Easy to get and make fit for most slots) or Pariah as your main body set.

Don't be afraid of selfish sets - As a healer you're most helpful when you're alive. Anyone who can pick you out as a healer will be right to focus you first. Hitis is a great support set, and also a dead giveaway in that regard..

Lamia's burst resource return looks interesting, but I wouldn't count on it healing for much.

Brands of Imperium is an offbar set that you use if you need a bit more tankyness but it isn't that good as healer (8m range is awfully short when your healing spells are 28m+8m in pvp); Hiti's the same but it can at least provide self heals and some added heals if you happen to stand beside your allies.

Lamia song's useless, you're gonna use Resto staff for the most part as emergency heal and the set doesn't really do anything really noticeable when you could go Arkasis with 3x Potion CD reduction and provide a lot of ulti for your team.

All of the listed crafted sets are really bad in no-CP BG PvP right now and Necro heals are definitely in need of Spell Damage to be effective since they are not cheap to cast and get more mileage from increased SD (Burst heal to provide half the heal in resistances or double target if any corpse is nearby), therefore you need to pump your SD somehow and also get a lot of magicka sustain to keep being an active healer during fights.

    Thank you both!

Ok so I made Fortified Brass since it was easiest for me so ty for recommending it :) !

As for the jewelry/weapons... maybe https://eso-sets.com/set/spell-power-cure ? No regen but gives a decent amount of magicka and procs spell power.

SPC is decent in BG now but you still need to use a Weapon set (Maelstrom Resto) to enhance your build and a monster set or Mythic + Trainee combo

Might not be exactly what you're looking for but I've been having a blast with this setup on my magCro:

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildData?id=307210

It's a support build that specializes in "enemy suppression" using lots of CC and AOE damage, as well as good strong heals. It may seem squishy, but enemies are usually so busy dealing with the CC and AOE damage they have a hard time focusing me. Sometimes swap out the skeletal arcanist for Necrotic Potency, depending on if I want more damage or more support.

Edit: forgot to mention.. be warned that Syvarra in light is extremely expensive and difficult to farm, lol.

Oh yea I did not mention i am using monster sets.

right now Chokethorn but I hope to get Earthgore someday.

I do have a lot of other monster sets in my bank but i am unsure if they are good for healers.

Light Armor is a big NOPE in pvp atm, go Heavy or you'll get oneshot pretty often otherwise
