Does low level PvP represent max level

Rvzr

So my question is does low level PvP represent a max level PvP situation. I find my out put in under 50 PvP very lacking where some classes blow me out so easily. I’m guessing gear and proper skills come into play but should it be that imbalance ?!

Are you an actually new player?

Many people in under 50 pvp will be vets on a new character.

I am new yes, but I understand how skills work and when to use them. I’ve watched enough videos and stuff to understand a bit. I just feel that my damage is super low compared to others and I’m not sure if it’s a gear thing or should I be changing my play style

Since an Alt can use all the Champ Points on an account, and can have Armor that is either crafted or found at various leveling err, levels, an Alt in those conditions can be really strong.

This is because the game boosts you to over come skill point deficiencies in Passives and Actives at lower levels. This leveling boosts mostly goes away over time as you approach L50, and is gone by P160.

Have a guild mate make you some leveling armor, about every 10 ranks or so. That will help, and then run with Zergs, that will help too. Oh, and stay out of Battlegrounds for a while.....
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The true endgame in this game is constantly deleting old characters and making low level alts to play in below50 campaign to obliterate newcomers.
So yeah, it kind of represents max lv pvp.

Below50 campaign might be the worst place to start PvP. There aren't many action, not many players to start sieges and learn the basics and quite a lot of old players with gold level 24 gear using mages guild ulti to destroy starters.

I'd recommend non cp campaign over below 50 if you are new.

I believe cp is turned off in battle grounds.

On the other hand, game knowledge is power in this case I think. Classes have different power levels early on.

For example, nightblades get an execute very early in their skills. Sorcerers get a pet that does a lot of damage if you aren't paying attention. Each class has something different.

Add the weapon skills to the mix, and the game's balance depends on how everyone levels to get certain abilities on their bars.

Champion Points are turned off in Battlegrounds, so that would only be a concern if you were running around in the CP-enabled Cyrodiil or Imperial City campaigns.

When you do head into the Above 50 Battlegrounds, be aware that you'll be playing against players in CP 160 gear, so that's worth considering if you go in before CP 160.

However, one thing that experienced players will do in the Below 50 campaign/BGs is use gear and weapons that are very close to their level and are higher quality in order to gain the most benefit from battleleveling. A low level character gets a ton of benefit from wearing purple or gold quality gear. You have to replace it fairly frequently, but it's worth it.

Beyond that, a lot of it is practice with their class and build, and already having PVP reflexes like having HOTs ticking all the time or automatically breaking free/dodge rolling when they get CC'd. That comes with time.

There is a community of players that reroll characters to keep playing in U50 cyrodiil and some of them have gold gear. With reconstruction, the gear differential has gotten a bit ridiculous as they can make almost any gear set in the game.

On the positive side, many of those players are there to fight other similar players and will leave newbs alone unless attacked so don't chase them.

    There are notable exceptions.

At least on PS4 NA, I've encountered surprisingly few twinks in <50 BGs. Something that I find immensely frustrating is the difference in difficulty between <50 and >50 BGs. I've been a consistent top scorer in BGs while leveling almost all of my characters (just using dropped gear), but I pretty rapidly turn into a potato with no survivability as soon as I hit 50. The only real exception was my magsorc, which I had to grind into higher MMRs before things started to get rough.

But the gear does. And that has a huge impact, even without CPs.

So more or less more hours on my character and probably grinding out to level 160 will help more than getting concerned in low level BGs.

I found my heart with my stamplar and I know they’re not the meta . I’m hoping I can keep up in PvP open world and BGs once I’m fully built!

Longtime stamplar here, they're great in the no-proc Cyrodiil we have right now.

Unfortunately, they fall a bit short in Proc metas, procs(burst) (and Malacath's band) are king in BGs.

The few useful class passives stamplar do have encourage building stats like crit rate, or crit damage, which most choose to simply ignore with Malacath/Procs. The most recent patch lowered access to crit rate through most of its sources, pushing even more people to Malacath.

Lack of a good escape tool or tank option, they have cleanse to remove dots and status effects, but no great amount of healing power.

It's a potent class when played right, just know its an uphill battle. Master it, and you'll find other classes to be a breeze.

nah this doesnt max lvl PvP situation, it represent in most cases players who are unable to play competetive PvP on their lvl on max lvl PvP and they have need to farm non geared, beginners whiel they themselves have gear ready even for every lvl they get up

I knew few players who do nothing except low lvl PvP and they have gear for literally every lvl (well every 2 lvls here if crafted) and when they reached 50lvl they instantly delete it and create new but when they was duealed with someone competetive on this 50lvl they barely was winning if even

Not saying you don't, but you don't know it as well as someone who has played 6+ years, which people may have.

Like I levelled up a sram necro about a year ago. Just did random dungeon and random BG every day, as it's easy xp fairly quick.

BGs were an absolute slaughter. Like 25+ - 0 everytime. Untouchable.

Not showing off or bragging, just highlighting the difference between myself on a new character and actually new players.

I knew how PvP works and how to gear out a character properly.

Hmm that’s true. I’m not used to being at the bottom as I was a multi glad, multi class player in wow every expansion LOL. Now I’m starting from scratch and expecting to keep that same level of play in a new game on a console I guess I gotta sort of drop that and start fresh and relearn LOL!

    That's awesome!

I definitely recommend sticking to no-CP/Cyrodiil for the time being. Cyro will have the purest form of class v class the game can offer for the moment.

Once you have a good handle on the timing/threat potential of other classes start looking into places where Proc sets are enabled. There are a ton more visual tells/one-shot potential to learn and watch out for there.

No it doesn’t in the least to answer your question.

Get to 160 for NoCp for some better PvP, then grind up for a CP campaign.

Below 50 is very easy depending if you have played PvP a lot. Though as a PvPer it would be cringy to kill potatoes there and even most of the twinkle twinks.

Under 50 should be for new players imo.

New players will be going against twink guilds. Also, people who have fully leveled out and stay once they hit over 50, till they log out.

I am not sure if the set restrictions made any difference in below 50. Just know the average player will have more resources, than a newer player when it comes to gear and skills available.

All in All, it is way too easy but very unforgiving to new players. I use to just go there to make certain twinkle twinks leave below 50 😄

If you’re really into PvP just get to 160cp which is very easy to do and go into at least a standard campaign.

For BGs your gear is different, as procs are still on there and in IC. Once you made 160cp grind up your CP for the other campaigns.
