mundus stone not working?

Hi, I gifted a mundus stone to my friend for his guild house. He placed it at his house, but we can't interact with it? Is this a bug or what does he need to do to get it to work? Want to get the rest of the mundus stones at some point. He tried it in a few of his houses and you couldn't interact with it anywhere. It is placed correctly, he knows how to place items.

This is on the ps4 EU server.

He might have to reposition it. Just like chairs if it doesn't light up green when he places it then you won't be able to interact with it.

If he already has that mundus stone active then there won’t be any way to interact with it. Need to swap to a different one then test it.

@WrathOfInnos that'll definitely do it but apparently none of them can use it — I got to admit it would be hilarious if they all had the same Mundus stone.

@big_ear_midget the only other thing I can think of aside from it legitimately being bugged (wouldn't be surprised) is the housing settings — I'm not sure if it affects Mundus stones like it does with lights and other interactables (never tried it) but if your buddy's settings are set to "Limited Vistor" then that could explain why nobody else can interact with the Mundus stone and if he has that Mundus then it would explain why he can't use it either.
