Need race advice for Stamina Warden

So still abit sucks in pvp, but always have room for improvement... just started this year as well...

Anyways i'm looking for recommendations for race on a pvp dps-focused stamina warden..

This are the 3 races i've narrowed down on what it will likely be

• Dark Elf
• Khajiit
• Imperial

from reading forums and watching youtube vids, dark elf seems to be the best dps for stam based builds, with khajiit not far from behind.. and imperials are supposed to be tanky behind nords, and are sneakily good in pvp..


so anyone convice me why i should choose one over the other 2??

It doesn't matter.

Khajiit might be meta this update but in 6 months time it probably won't be and in a years time it'll change again.

ZOS are continually trying to keep the game balanced but the complexity of the choices means players keep finding ways to 'optimize' it and ZOS then rebalances it and people scream a lot about things being nerfed.

The race, skills, gear and build meta keeps changing.

Agree, select the race you like most, both Khajiit and Dunmer work well as both magic and stamina who is nice.

How much do you value aesthetics? Since Dark Elf is on your list, and many of the Animal Companions skills have a Morrowind theme, I suggest going with them. They're also good at magicka, in case you ever wanted to try that playstyle.

I tell a lot of people creating new characters the same thing - start with the fantasy of the class you're playing. Updates will raise and lower race/class combos in favor, but that idea of the character is what'll keep you in love with it. So while Dark Elves are good for the moment, do you have a cool character idea to build around that race/class combo?

at the moment i don't have a specific in mind regarding my build... although i'm leaning towards 2h build(well dizzy+exe is quite rock solid), i wouldn't mind going with dual daggs... then i migh supplement him with the warden's heals to make this build tanky for pvp..

Any of those are fine. Don't discount Orc either, that added speed is also very nice in PvP.

I would personally pick Dunmer, its good from stam, mag and tank builds.
Khajiit is good for stam and mag and Imperial is good for tank and stam.

For PVP it doesn't even matter. MMO PVP is all about gear.

I have one orc stamina warden (2h+bow) and she is nice one.

Any of the options you listed is fine, just pick the one you feel most comfortable seeing on your screening.

Racial passives only make a minor difference for score-pushing end-game players and leaderboards, and even then, it's more about skill than numbers.

So just enjoy the game, most races are stamina friendly.
