Realm Selection?

So, I logged on ESO today and this window appeared. I have never seen this window in my life, would Zenimax be interested in starting to work with different "Realms"?

I have been playing since 2014 and had never seen this screen.

No clue. I've never seen that personally - but I don't play PC NA at peak. I do play PC EU at peak; still never seen that.

The only realm you can select is PC-US.
So its not select instance of an zone. Some games let you select this but it can be used to exploit and kind of defeat the purpose of instances. Say you farm an overland boss, you kill and then starting flipping instance until you find boss again and kill it in that instance.

My guess is that you found something very old instead. Possible they use it for internal testing then they have multiple versions of ESO running.

I assume this was before character select? And after login?

This is happened to me twice on PC and does happen before character select screen.

Make me wonder where do you select if you want to play on EU or US server?
Previously I think this was under settings in the launcher.

I think this menu comes then the game does not know who server you want to play on.
It being an old menu as its named realm but all other places server is used, not uncommon to find little used functions to keep the old standard.

Funny thing is I am a EU player who plays on NA servers. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

No, for me it came up regardless of which server I was connecting to, and it only showed whichever server had already been chosen. If you want to switch servers, you can select Cancel and it will leave you on the server selection screen so you can switch servers by clicking up in the upper left corner.
