Please make Power Extraction a ranged skill

One of the things that stinks about being a bow/bow build is not being able to use rally. Most NBs I know prefer double bow but reluctantly go with a two hand backbar to save money on pots (and use tripots).

I'm not aware of many people running the stamina morph of Drain Power. If you're a brawler blade you're probably running two hand anyway which makes this skill mostly useless.

However if Power Extraction were made ranged, it would allow bow/bows to get a non pot source of Major Brutality. It still wouldn't be as *good* as rally because it isn't free nor does it heal. But it would be a great option for those of use who run most of the bow skills, requiring both bars.

So, simply change it from an aoe to a ranged attack, say 28 meters. It would still be usable for brawlers if they choose to use it.

I question how many nightblades you know, but I digress. Wouldnt a better option be to actually add it to a bow skill? I use Power extraction on my stamblade for trash pulls and group content I dont care much about to save on potions, would hate to lose that skill.

Hot tip. sacrifice one of your slots for a Hircine bounty variant from ww skill line. Yes you can't use it but it gives 100% uptime of Major Brutality on the bar you are using.

I pair up Ambush + Power Extraction or Lotus Fan + Sap Essence on my Nightblades to get into melee range to use it. You could do this on your AOE bar then follow up with a Barrage and Spray at the location.

I'd like to see Major Brutality added to the bow because then Ranged Stamina Templars can also get access to the buff.

I'm all for just adding it to a bow skill like Magnum shot. But I don't think they'll do that.

Good way to get killed for a sniper. 😆

You would still have the mag morph which is plenty bad ass itself.

But Bow has Hawk Eye which gives you even more, because up to 25% SKILL DMG, which (depending on your build OC) could give you far more than major brutality with bonus to WD only.

Are we comparing passives now? Its not really fair to point that out without stating the obvious combat advantages of two hand and duel wield.

Yeah, because they are integral part of the system, and in case of weapons, armours & some class/guild trees, they can be source of massive advantage.

It is nothing to compare with reduced time of reaction you have while using melee weapon. Not mentioning stamina rest from HA.

Snipe, Poison and Silver Shards with Reapers Mark and Evil Hunter.

Arrow Barrage And Magnum are on the back.

You can't dump hungry and mark on the back bar.

Works for me. But I say power extraction because it already gives the buff. It has to hit a target though.

Ranged? 28m? I don't know why you want it that way.

Probably I'm the only NB using Power Extraction in PvP.
Power Extraction isn't strong, but I still like the 8m AoE.

Why don't you equip two-handed weapons or dual wield?
If you don't do that, you have to accept the disadvantages.

Bow needs Major Brutality somewhere I agree but don’t take power extraction for it. I use power extraction on my stamNB PVE and PVP. It’s meta sure but I get no complaints about my DPS in groups and get the job done.

I would like a rework, so that all weapon skill lines have Major Brutality and Sorcery.
And at the same time replace them in the class skill lines with other buffs/debuffs to make classes more unique and have build freedom at the same time.

All that "here a little, there a bit" is just annoying. There is no structure, no concept at the moment.

I understand that momentum is very unique in giving you free MB. I'm not asking for another free skill. Charge me for it. Its just kind of annoying there's no real option for bow/bow.

I only suggested PE because it isn't used often and already grants the buff. Adding it to a bow skill is fine with me.

Mag already gets free major sorc from degeneration when it's accessible to anyone who wants to unlock it.

If you do not play DK and do not want to wait till you reach lvl 30-38-42, you can always use Dreugh King Slayer Set, which you most probably complete during countless trips to Fungal Grotto, just after lvl 10 XD

That's a lot of scared NBs if they are all bow/bow. LOL. Also, how does that even work. If they role an alt, do they get kicked from the guild?

In PVE, you just dont need to be at 28 meters, very few fights practically allow for it.

In PVP, not really interested in buffing the Max ranged, Bow Spam and disappear NB playstyle TBH. If you want the buff, you can use a potion or actually get close to your opponent.

It's not rocket science. Our guild groups are NB groups. And no, not everyone is a bow bow. If you go back up, I say many reluctantly go two hand on the back.

Disagree. Power Extraction is a great AOE for bruisers that wants to play a Disease build. If anything we need more Disease abilities and change the colour from red to a dirty green.
