I just hope we get some character development here. For someone who is so condescending, so superior and so arrogant all the time she doesn't half need our help a lot. And let's not even think about what my Argonian thinks of her...
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

That's exactly what I think every time I meet Almalexia...

Well she is a Dremora, and they don't really have the same qualities and personalities as mortals.

Well, at least she isn't trying to kill you like most Dremora would? Oh, sure, she might WANT to, but she's not actively trying... yet. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, according to all our experience with Lyranth she seems fond to be entrapped as a damsel in distress, and she is also available as a guest now, so perhaps you can create a comfortable place for her in your basement.

If you're using her as a Houseguest and have the Banekin pet, place that on her left side slightly behind. Now every time you talk with her, you'll see this demon in the background always laughing and rubbing his hands together.

I have a theory, that having set her up as the "mortal-friendly" Dremora... she will turn out to be a major villain.
At one point she mentions "her master", and that master will turn out to be Mehrunes Dagon himself - just like he is the master of most Dremora (though Molag Bal has his own contingent of Dremora), and her motivation for getting the player to get through all these anti-Daedric wards is to acquire an item *for* Mehrunes Dagon that was meant to be hidden from him

If she is a houseguest then she won't be a villian.

I had the same thought, she probably won't be the "good one". But this is not an obstacle to having her as a houseguest.

My impression of the Prologue Lyranth is that she is far more chill than when we encountered her before lol.

Given Lyranth unusual temperament though, I think it would be a fitting plot twist if she turned out to have once been a mortal in the first era who was somehow transfigured into an immortal Dremora. There is no lore to support such a phenomenon, however Lord Fa-Nuit-Hen has confirmed that mortals have at least the capability of ascendiong to immortality (whatever form that may be, see UESP.

There are dremora vendors, like in craglorn, but I think that is just how dremoras talk. Everything is about power and retaining power. It’s all king of the hill.

By the way she has some really great lines as a house guest.
