    When I played Daggerfall for the first time, I wandered into a fair sized town, and the first temple I ran across was the Temple of Akatosh. Since he was my favorite just from reading lore along, and since he's a dragon (LOVE dragons), he's it forever in TES.

    But Dibella is a close second, what with being the goddess of secret lesbian ***, and all.
    I mean, if I were going to be forced to worship at one particular temple... might as well try to pick the fun one, right?

    Talos because he greatly resembles earlier depictions of the northern germanic god that was basically Oðinn/Týr rolled into one. The goddess Kyne is close second.

    I will give you one good reason. He has saved our collective hides a number of times throughout the Elder Scrolls timeline. Nirn would be pulverized dust without him or the Planemeld would have happened.

    Plus, he's a dragon which is awesome!
