This twitch livestream..question

What exactly needs to happen to get this free pet? Im linked and ready to go. I only ask because I’ll be at work on break when it starts but it will go longer than my break so if I have twitch open and watching but then leave to go back to break is there something I’ll miss to not get the pet at that point?

A couple of years ago you just needed to keep the browser open playing the stream and then you'd get the pet on the game. But they changed something recently. Now you get the drop on twitch inventory, instead of receiving it on the game, and after claiming it goes nowhere. It's confusing now. It's better to not have much expectations.

Meanwhile I found out that I wasn't receiving the claimed drops because my linked account was too old. I linked my accounts 3 years ago and since they changed the way it works we need to relink the accounts again.

Well... I receive all emails from ESO and never knew about it. Anyway, after removing all old links and relinking again Bethesda and ESO the drop appeared on the game.

But that's it... relink everything and remember that there's one more step to claim the drop on twitch.

I just hope it still works later today.

Was coming to say exactly this, its misleading and ZOS should take action for things like this immediately. So, not only do you need to watch for 1 hour but you only get 1 drop per event/campaign which is also not mentioned on that page.

That should take about an hour from the stream start time.

or better yet, reconsider and revert the policy, please, because having two different rules:

a) confuses everyone
b) hurts streamers who show your game.

I'm a loyal eso player streamer, and this one hurt bad. Honestly, the amount of gems could not really affect your profits that much. Aren't there better ways?

No new info, apart from next gen console update comes with it.

You didn't miss much, it was literally 20 minutes long and nothing we didn't already know tbh. Mostly hype and teasers. The biggest bit was that newer consoles are going to be able to play natively now and have better graphics, performance, etc. Not sure the people who came in stream when they started the actual reveal (announced as 2PM EST) were able to claim the drops in time though since no one knew it was going to be so short?

At least now we know that the new dolmens - Oblivion Gates - will be even worse than last year's harrowstorms. Not only will there be no indication which one is active, they won't even be shown on the map at all.

But will a single player be able to take them on? Or possibly converge with other players from other portals at the bosses? I’m looking forward to seeing how they work and they look a lot more interesting, I think.

Dolmens and geysers work because they can be soloed but scale up with more players (to a point anyway) and dragons work because of the excellent map indicators. Harrowstorms are more problematic IMHO.

Anyway, glad their trying something new and something to find and explore rather than wait and kill x enemies!

what people report actually, is not an issue of unlinked accounts, as they receive the oroborus crates from former events, or like someone mentioned and myself from the afterstreams today (I opened the turkish stream promoted by you, even though I don't understand a word - but it worked).

What did NOT work for many was your reveal event, as the interruptions and delays obviously had the result, that the 30 minutes streamtime were not sufficient to reach the 15 minute requirement for the drops.

You had a free promotion/advertisement video with ~40k viewers, but without rewarding them to join your promo as promised due to technical issues. This is NOT ok.

Is there a way to get this pet if you could not be on to watch it live? I just watched the replay so idk is it fair you have to see it live only?

I've watched the stream from Bethesda and I have the flame atronach pony and the Blackwood preview crate. But when I click on them to claim I get an error message. But I did get a drop from another stream and was able to claim a crate. And this was after the bethesda stream and had no problems with that one... How can I get them?

Give it a day or two to see if twitch sorts out and then open a ticket - but whether it's twitch or ESO who knows.

The crate I had stuck a couple of months ago did sort out the next day- -ish (twitch though it was both claimed and not claimed but ESO gave me the crate).

ok, because they say you have to claim it within 24 hours... hope I can get them within a few hours..

I got a bit excited that it says "Blackwood Preview Crate" in my Twitch Drops. It turned out to be another Ouroboros Crown Crate. Appreciate the free gems though since I have everything in those crates already.

Definitely pros and cons for sure. On the plus side, maybe there wont be so many players hoarding them, idk. I like the aspect of exploration and unpredictability with them.
