Clearly this poll is biased and OP has no exp with dk vamps at all.... hasnt even tried... I mean if they had they might be calling for a nerf so i guess it's best they don't...

I won’t deny that I have no experience with Dragonknights of any kind, let alone Vampires.

    Do they make good Vampires?

    The absolute best actually.

Spammable becomes a 7 meter melee strike.

Coagulating Blood functions like Eviscerate so when you're about to die you can either hit harder or instantly full heal.

Burning Embers offers insane on demand offensive healing that puts Vampiric Drain to shame.

Leap gets you in range and stuns all the poor people at the impact site.

DK's Battle Roar passive makes Swarming Scion a true reset button as it gives magicka and stamina back on top of the instant heal.

Fossilize is the best melee stun in the game for Vampire's melee playstyle.

DK heavily benefits from mistform and the undeath passive making them even better tanks, especially in PVP allowing a glass cannon to survive things other classes simply can't.

Stage 4's sprint efficiency and invisibility also helps DKs chase targets, set up aggressive ambushes, and gives them a chance to disengage from an unfavorable situation.

Resurrecting this, because I am leveling a DK that I will turn into a Vampire at some point. Will share thoughts here rather than making a whole new thread.

Vampire bad blah blah bliggedy bloo blah
I picked the last option just because it made me laugh. I enjoyed my vampire nightblade but ultimately cured it because sustain.

    Nightblade
NB at stage 2. The increased sneak speed and extra 300 wd/sd coming out of stealth are well worth the penalties. It almost feels like they designed Vamp specifically to be used on NB's.

    Nightblade
I enjoy Vampire at stamNB of Imperial.
Stage 3 is great because it increases the survivability and firepower of the Glass cannon build.

    Nightblade
In pve single target skills (especially grim focus or killer's blade & cloak with 100% crit chance) of NB works imho far better with Vamp (+300 to attack from shadow & frienzy, plus no penalty to sneak) than Necros (or maybe blasty is too irritaring to me :p ). So in many dungeons you can ignore mobs & run directly to chests (cloak helps a lot in looting without the fight) & bosses (even on vet). With mist form & frienzy fighting is much easier and in case of problems you can always end fight with cloak and start from the beginning.

In pvp - have you seen bomber? :D

    Necromancer
As a Vampire Necromancer, you become a better Nightblade than... well... a Nightblade...

Care to share what you use for mobility? (:
On my NB I use RAT or bow roll dodge (non-class skills). So it could also work on a vamp Necro.
