Elder Scrolls 6 Leak... sounds familiar...

So, apparently: Leak
I mean, rune drawing? Sounds a little like the scrapped ESO spellcrafting system, to me. Also, I want both of these in ESO. Survial and Spellcrafting. I want nice things in my MMO, too.

Survival is a specific thing and in this MMO it would be like the 5 leg of a dog.

"accurately revealed some pretty big information in the past like the cancellation of E3 2020, and the Nintendo Direct event"

Lol, anyone could have guessed that. File this under: Not ESO related, and also: Probably just guesses.

Oh yeah. Cause its fun constantly monitoring whether your character is hungry, thirsty, injured, or has badly damaged gear. Who doesn't want to have to wait while someone goes for healing, repair kits, or takes a nice 12-hour nap to get their stats back up? Also can't wait until people can make ridiculously overpowered spells and then rant on the forums about nerfing everything because reasons. I want nice things in my MMO, too, like not worrying I have to make my character eat, drink and sleep when actually I want to clear another delve or quest.

I think it's impossible. Just because this would require reworking of whole project that no developer will do at this stage.

I come from SWG, so i for one actually would find this 'survival' system extremely fun & immersive.

imho, most MMO gamers nowadays are not only wayyyy too spoiled (instant travel everywhere, ultra fast xp, pay-to-win/pay-to-get micro transactions "economy", etc. ) but also way too soft ( immediate QQ if can't beat ALL content on day 1 of release, then after devs cater to vocal-minority that same QQ turns into "game is boring nothin' to do!!!!!!" ) .

But anyways, easy solution for those worrying who'd prefer less immersive (but understandably more convenient) playstyles, would be for Zenimax to just simply make 'survival' an optional opt-in toggle. Or, perhaps could just make it only apply in certain dangerously treacherous map areas (like Alik'r''s Desert, for example, or Wrothgar ) .

Or maybe just on certain high-level hardcore quests? (like that 1 mission---i can't remember where----when you have to climb up a steep mountaintop and then move quickly thru snowstorms from campfire-to-campfire spot, lighting them for *heat* & healing ) .

Most of the basic code infrastructure already exists though, as i mentioned above with that 1 "survival" type mission ^ .

I don't think it would be some major overhaul or whatever, if it was limited in scope.

I mostly just want warmth ratings on armor, drinks and food, perhaps, furry capes and backpacks to be added, and for the cold and wet weather to affect things. I also want a greater consequence for death (maybe forced way shrine resurrecting?) and to take more damage in Overland. I think it would be cool to incorporate some survival stuff into the Champion Point system as a "slot this stuff if you like it, leave it if you don't" kind of thing.

After many reworking of buffs, debuffs and passives ZoS made to ease the load on the server?

    A survival mode? Ugh.

I guess maybe as an optional play style, maybe for the more hard core players, but one of the worst aspects of F76 was the feeling I had to do “chores” each time I logged in. Do I have enough food. Enough water. Ammo. Etc.

    it was not fun.

I prefer logging in and going off adventuring immediately. Imply that my character does mundane “prep work” off screen.

Survival and crafting stations - sounds more like TES 76 :s

Dialogue wheel? No NPC's? What other FO abominations are BGS going to put in that game?

It is too early to listen to such rumours, but I must say that it reminded me of Arx Fatalis in which you would cast spells by actually drawing the runes. It'd be great to see it in tes 6, it would greatly contribute to rpg side of the series again.

Just imagine a boss fight on hardest difficulty, moving around, dodging and drawing runes at the same time instead of pressing a button. I think I am gonna buy touch screen monitor and grow a third hand. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Jokes aside, in Arx you had to prepare spells with drawings. Casting was instant. I would like such thing in TES6 too.

Someone who guessed that a massive live event will be cancelled during a pandemic said the next Elder Scrolls game would have features previous Bethesda games have had.

    Greetings all,

After review we have closed this thread as it has a very high potential to discuss conspiracy theories, misinformation, and games that are not ESO. If you wish to discuss Elder Scrolls games that are not ESO you can do so at the Bethesda forums located here. However be mindful that the Bethesda forums also has rules against conspiracy theories and misinformation so be careful when discussing speculations or leaks related to unreleased games.
