Aoe animation design, Player aoe, pets and hiding them

I tank, I use hide group addon , however it is getting to be no fun. Colossus, sorc pets ground aoe (encratis grothgar etc etc) and the design of the new dungeons to have large aoe makes it difficult to see Boss mechanic ground aoe or Boss mechanics/animations .

Much the same as we have set overdose, DLC dungeon overdose (for random normals and pledges) I think we have aoe overdose.

A redesigning to minimalize aoe or allow in game hiding would be very much appreciated by me....what say you?

    If you don't see where these friendly effects are then you could lower their potency by pulling mobs away from them or by not standing in a place where you are effected by them, making things overall much harder for your teammates.

    Like Earthgore triggers on you, but you have it hidden and you rolldodge out of it for an unrelated reason, thus making it a wasted proc.

    I changed the enemy AoE colour to yellow in the settings and personally I never have an issue seeing where the danger is.

    I use yellow for bad, blue for good. And it works well for me tanking (and any roll really)

    There definitely ARE times when visibility is bad, but has not really altered the role or my ability to do my job as a tank.

    Ground effects are one thing, maw summons blocking view of the boss is another. Its annoying af..
