Anyone know how to get slaver gear that is unbound?

It uses the Abah's Watch light style.

So you just need someone to craft a light jerkin in that style, or unlock that style for your style collection using a motif, then use the look in an outfit.

thank you, that is helpful. but im still guessing there is no way to get the slaver gear unbound, right? (i.e. so the item says "slaver jerkin" in the title)

You would have to pick it up during the Morrowind tutorial on a new toon and try to send it to someone. It might be BoP, though, since it's required to equip it (thereby binding it) to continue the quest.

I have some news for you!

Found this when I did a quest in Seyda Neen to go to Firemoth Island (The quest is named Breaking Through the Fog). On a dock there it lied a corpse and I could loot this. So that seems to be a way to get an unbound version of it.

^^ It is indeed bound ‘cause my alt accounts that were using the free version of ESO included in Game Pass started in Morrowind - and I even made sure to have gold sent in the mail, so they would have enough to send it to my main account - but no luck. Otherwise - I have all of my original tutorial gear saved.

oh man. I'm envious. I was on that island for 3 hours killing slavers, never got a thing. I think you may have a very rare item

I guess its an quest reward, they tend to have unique names, they can be standard gear or set pieces.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It's not rare, you get it by doing the Morrowind tutorial. You get it during the quest Broken Bonds.

Its rarity depends entirely on what chapters you have. If you don’t own Morrowind (so you have the base game from before mid-2018 and never bought the zone DLC) or if you have Summerset, Elsweyr, or Greymoor, you will never see this item — unless it is possible for someone else to send it to you. (It says BoE, but someone above tried to send it to another account and wasn’t successful.)

If you have Morrowind and no other chapters, you will have to get this item.

So it’s very hit or miss.
