Got the grinding blues.. mythic items

I have never been one for grinding, being more focused on questing and dungeons. But trying to revamp my build and grinding just really getting to me. Levelled antiques and trying to collect pieces for the pair order ring. Realised my full week of playing (only have time for couple hours a night post work) has been soullessly grinding... and it’s just so dull. Hours in Bad Man’s Hallow to no avail... now hours battling world bosses in Wrothgar.. again to no avail. No leads.. none.
I can solo most base world bosses (i am CP600 ish) but not Wrothgar ones.. so it just such a slog of asking in zone chat for help and getting none.. ever..
Do you ever just get that realisation of why am I doing this? Where is the fun? I know a big part of MMOs are grinding but the rgn is awful... I think especially as I don’t have much time to play due to life and work stuff it just irritating feeling I wasting all my ‘game’ time grinding and not even getting the leads lol!
I know it’s super not popular but with I could just buy the leads or could the rgn not just be improved?

Rukia541✭✭✭✭✭I had a different experience. I made pale order in 2 days flat after my return , scrying only took some hours, boring as hell but not bad at all when it comes to grinds. In bad mans hallow I grouped with another person and got it soon after, in wrothgar I grouped with players and got it after a couple bosses. Soloing them wasn't the issue, its how long it took with no one to help, I tell zone chat I'm starting a boss regardless if I get help and 90% of the time ppl start to show then you can make a group of it.

crjs1✭✭✭✭✭Yeah I think I am just having really bad luck. I got the lead from Alik’r Desert delve really fast but have now hit a total rgn wall for the other leads. Literally been in bad mans hollow all week killing trash with no lead in sight so gave up and moved to wrothgar which equally annoying!!
Think will see if guildies want to hit the bosses tomorrow. I just wish rgn was more forgiving, it’s sapped all motivation to play.0 -
Vermintide✭✭✭✭You would probably be happier just playing the game and focusing on other aspects of your build, and ignore these silly mythic items. They're not needed (or even optimal) on any build for any class, as far as I'm aware.
Roll a magblade and never worry about self healing again
When you get real good at it you won't even need to slot shields. 0
