nBRP exp farm disappointed me

One hour with a friend, 100% pie + 150% scroll + 7 training + 1 weapon training. Everything seems to be correct. But I farmed from 1849 to 1856 in an hour. A friend farmed from 1475 to 1486. But this is the most effective way of farming exp at the moment. Maybe we did something wrong?

You should be pulling between 5-6M XP/hour or so, if you are running it optimally (4 minutes for 4 rounds then quick reset). Also mara helps. When I did it with a friend yesterday, we were pulling 4.5M in the first hour, but we died a couple of times due to stupidity and had a bad reset with a DC. After that it got better.

At your CP, that's 4.8 million XP that you pulled.

Since you are above the cap of 1800, your CP cost 50% more.

Your friend seems to have gotten a bit less XP (4.1 million), but since he's below the cap, he got more CP out of it.

Honestly, at your level, just play the game. You're going to burn yourself out.

You're doing better than me. We're looking at about 2mill exp per hour, it's till faster than skyreach or public dungeon spots though. Not too unhappy, we're rally only getting 15k dps between us atm, very inefficient but we're getting better fast.

2 mill per hour is slower than a good Skyreach farmer.

Yes, but you can't do it solo and in regard to breaks etc. you depend on your grinding partner.

You can do it solo. Around 3-3,5M XP solo is possible there

Sadly the two of us are neither good skyreach or BRP farmers. Feel like we're missing something in our build or tequnique as even anecdotally we both normally hit harder than most dps in pug dungeons. Can't imagine we're alone like that either.

With 2 people you can pull both sides in skyreach and then reset is it still slower?

You can do it solo. Around 3-3,5M XP solo is possible there

if you're going in solo might as well just do nMA instead

If your new to this and trying it out here are some tips from a cp2700 player who's been doing it pre cp2.0

Have one player start on defense sigil.
Other player start on resource sigil.
*Take both at start of each round.

Both players use silver leash on back bar.
One player use caltrops for debuffing.
*Even if both mag the resource sigil will allow you to have 100% stam all the time to spam both of these as needed

Both players run camo hunter on front bar.
* even if Magicka this will help get ult faster. The resource sigil also helps get ult. This will allow you to cast up to two ult per wave at times. Wait for high hp mobs to use them on. If one higher hp mob is spawning only use one persons ult. Rotate them the best you can. Dont be afraid to drop both ults on waves with 2+ higher hp mobs. You will over time learn when and when not to use them.

After taking sigils, meet in middle of room. One person take responsibility for chaining a side to middle. Do this until you learn each waves spawns.dont run around the arena clueless. It will add so much time. Bring the mobs to you until you learn spawns. Use range to kill ones that can't be pulled or don't come to you.

It seems that a lot of people also don't understand you only do the first arena. You play 4 waves, leave and reset when the 5th boss wave starts. Some people in Craglorn were playing the entire nBRP and wondering why it took so long -_-

why would you not fight the first boss? Don't they give much more xp along with finishing the first room then leaving on wave 4?

Takes too much time. At xp/h ratio without crazy good dps not efficient

I think it is an efficient way of farm for people who know what they are doing and familiar with the place

We couldnt pull it off either so turning back to skyreach

It took solo and duo like 7 min whereas Skyreach 3.5 min

So I get for people who can do it it is double xp in same time

For me/us did not make difference since we do it in double time

Skyreach Catacombs, the place where tons of skeletons and zombies attack you. The mobs are weak enough to pull dozens of them at a time. It's soloable if you build for it, so you can bring a low level character along for an "XP carry".

Definitely did it wrong. Non-double XP with a 50% scroll and this CP217 went to CP256 in about an hour.

I leveled the bow skill line from 0 to 50 in 45mins and took half an hour to level all the morphs.

I'd explain how to do it right but it's a trade secret.
