Infinite loading screens after the last two patches

There is something wrong with the last two patches (Flames of Ambition and the maintenance patch earlier this week).The game is unable to load after installing those patches. After Flames of Ambition went live, the game refused to load, I kept getting kicked from the server and never made it to character select screen. The loops of kicks and retries took about 40 minutes. The problem went away after that and I was able to log in as normal, but now this week I had to install the new maintenance patch. I am again unable to access the game, I keep getting kicked for inactivity before even reaching character selection. I gave up after 30 minutes or so and tried on another day. I'm still stuck in loading screen and have been kicked 3 times already.

It's convenient to blame players' machines, but obviously the patches are doing something to the game. And unfortunately we are forced to install the patches. What should I do? I want to play the game and spend money but I can't.

EDIT: After another 40 minutes I was luckily able to log in again. It takes a loop of about 5 kicks. This is becoming a pattern, it's caused by the patches. Please look into it.

Any update on a fix? I am experiencing the same thing after today’s patch.

No fix, addons were brought up as the usual problem as per this official reply https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/570661/cant-log-in-after-every-update-for-40-60-min#latest

I will check later and will let you know if this helped.
