Luxury home vendor

Every weekend (or at least once a month) there should be a luxury home vendor who resells 1 of the limited time homes on rotation. Missing your dream home and having to wait 2 years for it to randomly resurface is ridiculous and bad business practice because some quit the game before the home reappears for sale.

Please bring this to the table or next stream for discussion as it would make so many people happy and would generate more steady revenue each weekend if they were there alongside the luxury furniture vendor. @ZOS_GinaBruno

EDIT: to clarify I implied that they should sell the limited time homes for their usual crown cost not gold

They are furniture sellers, not real estate agent.

clearly you didn't read my post. I'm suggesting they add a new vendor alongside the luxury furnishing vendor that resells 1 of the limited time homes...as it stands you have to wait 2 years for 1 of them to randomly resurface...my proposal is you'd only have to wait weeks or months for your dream house to be available again.

Alright I admit I didn't read it thoroughly. It's just that they would have no profit selling the house in gold. Also the rarity of the house will diminish if it's on a weekly, on monthly rotation. I'd be totally for it, but I don't see them do anything like that bc no $$$ can be gained.

I feel like I should've been clearer in my original post ha...I never said they should resell for gold even though that would be amazing...I just want them to be made available for purchase for the weekend. Once every weekend put 1 of the locked homes for sale for the same amount of crowns they sold for initially...when coupled with the luxury furniture vendor they would make a killing in crown sales because housing people go in and some whales would buy every limited house every weekend it's made available.

It’s an interesting concept, but I’m not thinking I like the idea of crown purchases taking place directly in the game world. How about a weekly special page in the crown store instead?

that works too...I just thought a vendor standing beside the luxury furnishing vendor would give it some flair

When it comes to selling stuff for real life money this game operates on the FOMO principle. You may not think it's a good idea, unfortunately the people in the suits with the calculators thinks it's how they sell the most so things are extremely unlikely to change.

Most people don't buy houses with their rarity in mind. That is a very tiny portion of the player base. Most people buy homes to decorate them or use them not because its some rare virtual Sistine Chapel.

it doesn't take an expert to see the flaws in that thinking. People would probably FOMO buy more with my idea because new/returning players have better odds of buying the house they want as opposed to something that appears once every 2 years that most likely misses more then half the people who want it.

I will second this, because I think it's a bit underhanded trying to artificially create demand for something by only making it available occasionally, especially when it's something really expensive, like most of those limited time homes.

For example, I MIGHT have succumbed to temptation and purchased Tel Galen by now, but it's never been available to buy when I've had enough money available to spend on it.

So yes, I think this might be a worthwhile idea.

As far as I am concerned they should all be available permanently in the crown store, if they want to play the FOMO angle have limited time discount sales for them instead, like they do with the existing houses that are available.

The rich who badly want the houses will get them right away, those with less money will pick them up when they are on sale.

see this proves where their strategy is wrong because I've been playing on/off since release (mostly on) and this is the first time I'm even hearing about Tel Galen let alone being able to spend money on it. I know all homes are on the map but who clicks on unavailable homes? Maybe someone who's eagerly waiting to buy their dream home that visits in vain.
I hope gina sees this thread and brings it up for discussion because the current plan is broken and they're losing more money then they're making off the once every 2 year FOMO buy.

Tel Galen is a Telvanni mushroom tower over near Sadrith Mora. Honestly, it's a little underwhelming... one of the things I always loved about my Telvanni Tower back in ES3 was having a nice balcony to stand out on, looking out over the ashlands. This tower doesn't have ANY balcony, but it has a nice yard.
