All Sales, Let Us Know In Advance

ZOS, you should list all upcoming sales and sale items at the beginning of each month. Got a house coming up for sale on the 20th? Announce it on the 1st of the month. Gonna put crowns on sale on the 15th? Announce it on the 1st. Got a mount going on sale on the 10th? Announce it on the 1st. Going to put a furnishing pack on sale on the 25th? Announce it on the 1st.

Why? So we can save money to buy crowns to get the items. Look ZOS, many of us (especially now) live paycheck to paycheck so we often do not have the funds to spend on this stuff when you spring it on us. We need time to SAVE for it. You actually miss out on sales doing it the way you do. Seems to not be the smartest thing to do from a business standpoint.

They have a crown store showcase at the beginning of each month that shows what new items will be in the store that month, so they already do that.

You can see all of the offers for the month in the showcases, but we don't get prices until they pop in the store. If something's a repeat, we can figure it out from what it cost before, but new stuff we can only guess.

The only other real sales we get are on basic tokens like the Starter Pack, style tokes, mount upgrades, or other little things like that, and those pop randomly. We also sometimes get a sale on crates, but only on the 15-crate pack and only just before it leaves, but that's also not all the time.

The idea, of course, is that they'd rather people impulse buy things they want since they know that it's not going to return for ages (also a business model I disagree with, but that's another thread). That means that instead of stocking up on cheap crowns during sales, people will end up paying full price.

The Crown sales happen a few times a year, and also are never announced beforehand because they'll obviously want people to buy them at full price rather than at a discount. Still, for the last few years, we've always had one in April around the anniversary event, one in August during Quakecon, and one right around the holidays in December.

Sadly, they don't include everything usually, there's a few surprises each month, and they're often big buys ^^

That and the crown sales. That's the biggest issue. They always have a lot more come up that is not listed with the other stuff. Let us know all of it, not just some of it.

I didn’t know they didn’t include everything. Now I’ll have to check the crown store everyday. 🤔
