Unhallowed grave aggro changed after patch

Previous patch when i taunt a boss, it will hold on me forever, no need second taunt, but seem like this patch boss start attacking everyone when taunt is over. Is this a change? Cant see in patch note

    That's how taunting works. When it wears off they can go after others but not necessarily.
    Why you see that as a problem? Even if boss stays on you, you should still taunt to debuff.

    I taunt with inner and stay in mist form so i dont have to block or dodge or do anything, i can hold boss forever there, but seem like it start attacking others when taunt go off. FoA patch apply minor breach when dmg them with physic so i dont think i need to taunt with S&B

    ...Then it's working as intended. Taunts aren't meant to be permanent, there's a reason why they have a duration.

    umm, no one really cares about minor breach(which only comes from defiled dragon, sunderflame, and templar skill morph anyway)..its major breach and major fracture, both of which you get from pierce armor...by far the best debuff/taunt in the game. Inner fire is near worthless if you don't actually need the range. Well, not near worthless, but is only situational

    It's actually a pretty pointless benefit because magicka DDs or healers will pretty much always apply Elemental Drain, which also has Major Breach. So the major debuff from pierce armor is completely useless unless you are running full stam, no healer group or some nightmarish pug dungeon.

    It’s Major and Minor Breach on Pierce Armor. The base form and other morph don’t have the minor debuff.

    Your way of tanking is one that has never been promoted by the developer for the entirety of this game because it's lazy, uninvolved, and frankly exploits overlooked mechanics and abilities.

    Losing permanent agro on a boss is the least of your issues as you should really learn how to tank properly IMO. This setup of yours is definitely getting nerfed hard next patch.

    Well i can ignore mechanic ( this dungeon only since tank have nothing to do while taunting and not dying ), just a weird thing that i noticed on kiln boss, even in taunt duration, the boss may goes to different members and start wiping out players with one swing

    Most boss in all DLC dungeons i can just taunt 1 time and they can stay on me forever, like icereach third boss, one taunt it will stay on me forever, i feel aggro changed after patch...

    Of course group play, there's no way to know if u solo since u are the only one in the dungeon.

    I have never known a boss anywhere to stick on my tank like glue just for taunting it once. If Mist Form was somehow confusing the aggro system, well they nerfed it for regen maybe stopped whatever exploit this was.

    This work on trial too, u can just taunt one on 2nd boss on 1st floor in vHRC, all bosses and mobs will stay on u. I dont think it's mist form, mist form is not a taunt but inner is the one.

    Sounds as if it was a bug that they fixed knowingly or unknowingly. Probably has to do with the changes made to mist form in the last patch

    Not relate to the subject but it made me think about it while reading comments. The ice staff taunt should provide both Major and Minor Breach as Pierce Armor if ZOS wants ice staff to be a tanking weapon. They would have to make it so that you had to be within 5 meters to get the Major and Minor Breach or I can see it being abused in PVP by range casters. Just saying.

    Again, fixed so it's working as intended.

    If you're not reupping taunt and the boss "starts wiping out players with one swing" then you're not doing your job as a tank correctly.

    You're right, before patch i abuse 1 time taunt so i can just close my eye and rest and my team clear for me, now i have to open my eyes and taunt every 15s :(

    Soft taunt works on a timed basis. I.e. once hard taunt runs out, players doing something noticeable to the boss will draw aggro. That includes healing. When the hard taunt runs out, the boss will go looking for someone to attack, and they will attack the one guy that gets a damage tick or healing tick in, for about 7 seconds. After that runs out, they'll start looking around again.

    I assume the constant heals of Mist Form counted as healing ticks for that, so you very often drew back aggression right away. Since Mist Form doesn't heal any more, you're not doing anything the boss considers noticeable, and they turn elsewhere.
    Would be my theory.
