Unable to log in or update game since patch.

It appears there was a patch today as I tried to log in and it says I have an out of date client. So, I loaded the launcher same as I always do, however it just sits there at a blank page saying "Loading..." and never does anything. I disabled all firewall and other antimalware programs and rebooted and I still can't get the launcher to update the game so I can play.

Any suggestions?

    I can log into the PTS, however I am still getting blocked from updating the game client.

    So no one else is having problems updating through the launcher tonight?

    I have done everything on my end. As I said disabled all firewall stuff (shouldn't have to nothing changed but just being thorough), and I can log in to the PTS so it isn't a routing issue to ZOS servers. I even tried connecting through a VPN to mask my IP in case it was flagged for some weird reason.

    This is really strange and I have never seen an instance where the game needs an update to let you log in and the launcher won't download it!

    Process Explorer shows the launcher "listening" on port 49854 to "treasuredata.com:0" but no traffic whatsoever. I am able to ping this server and get steady replies.

    Nope, same problem. Launcher just sits forever at "Loading...".

    Ugh, I am about to just reinstall the entire game, but I am on an extremely slow data capped internet connection that would take days and eat up a ton of data.

    Is there a way to just reinstall the launcher?

    EDIT: I opened ticket 210323-004686 which contains the report.txt file.

    So what I ended up doing is copy my entire The Elder Scrolls Online folder to a backup drive. Then I downloaded the Install ESO executable from my account page, ran it, and let it update the launcher. I then closed it, copied back over my ESO folder, and re-ran the launcher.

    It is now updating as normal.

    This may be worth noting as something has obviously gone wrong with this last update to break your launcher like this, as nothing changed on my end. But I was able to get it working.
