How do I do this?

I see some players post images around of their characters that are taken from the character selection screen, but it's just the background image of the character/mount/pet and not with all the other stuff you'd get from a screenshot. I don't see anything to download the image and I tried to right click somewhere on the image away from the buttons to see if I could save the image but no go. So how are they doing it?

If your on PC you can:
1. Use the print screen key.
2. Edit the picture to remove the other stuff

Hide UI button works in hiding all the user interface stuff for taking screenshots. I'm sure they have a way to do that on the character selection screen to get those shots you mentioned.

I'll look at that Vevvev, TY. majulook, I can't edit it all, the play button often goes across their feet.

In setting / controls you can keybind to hide the UI and also keybind to take the screenshot.

I do edit my pictures sometimes with just the free Corel Draw software

It didn't work. I have hide UI keybound but on the selection screen it did nothing.

maybe they video record a few seconds, and then select to play the character, the interface goes away for a frame before shadowing, then you go into an editor and save out that frame
