Transmutation bind request

I am sure many of us want that transmuting items doesn't bind item to the player so we can change trait of item and then sell it. Can you guys support me so ESO can change that in the game ?

    Not going to happen.

It's not something I'd get behind. It would help the seller, but it also discourages other players from learning aspects of the game like trait research as well as benefiting from the rewards (transmute crystals) provided by some content.

I don't agree whatsoever. There are more than enough ways to make gold in the game without wasting transmute crystals. It should remain a convenience of having the trait you want, nothing more.

No, absolutely not. Guild Stores would become flooded with like Mother Sorrow staffs and other items people farm for.

I can see a lot of people are against this but tbh if I could transmute a looted MS inferno staff to preferred trait without it binding to me, I'd see that as a nice bonus for having learned all of those traits and wouldn't increase the number of them on sale in the guild store.

Obviously, it shouldn't apply to reconstructed gear but I don't think that's what OP is saying.

As it turns out I cannot.

Certain desirable overworld drops are a meal ticket, even in lower (green/blue) qualities.

If we could just 'reconstitute' them for a fistful of crystals and a few mats then pop them on the guild seller they would be a meal ticket no more.

Besides, overworld drops you can buy the pieces with the least desirable traits for significantly lower prices if you do not want to farm for them or you have just been unlucky with the drops and rather quickly you end up with a 'stickerbook' full enough to make 'reconstituting' very viable.

Unless I have misunderstood the proposition this seems to me like a solution looking for a problem.

EDIT: It would seem that I have misunderstood. Either way selling re-rolled items still has the same effect: In the very short term it might boost your earnings but in the long term it will kill these 'meal tickets'. I have never managed to make it a reliable source of income - not saying that is not possible, just that I haven't figured it out myself - but when they drop they are a welcome boon to my 'earnings'.

no, for very obvious game economy, player engagement drop-off and exploitative reasons !

Seeing green and blue MS staff selling for an average price of purple quality in TTC makes me like the idea to flood the market.
Let's be extremely precise in our use of terms.

No, I don't think this is a good idea.
