Trophy achievements

I've been playing eso for 6.5 years now. Today I am up 1844cp. And I still have not closed all the trophy achievements. I tried to grind the missing items, but I came to the conclusion that the chance of a drop is so small that it is completely useless to grind it. And so it happened. All the missing items that I tried to farm before, dropped to me quite by accident when I was walking around the world. Maybe ... Maybe these achievements are not what should be so hardcore? Seriously ... 6.5 years of play. I asked many of my friends who have been playing for a very long time and everyone says that they also have some achievements not completed.

I concur with your statement. I have played 5.75 years and have accumulated 1772 cp. For my achievement character I need two trophies, one each from two categories. I'm past the point in which I would find these in regular activities and I go to where the trophies might drop once a week or so and make a pointed effort to get them. I need the drop from Gargoyle and Wamasu. Maybe I'll get lucky this year.

the uesp wiki may be misleading, i was using alqast locations and another topic on this forum for trophies drop.
i completed them all, it's a really stupid grind indeed, it took me between 30 minutes and 3 hours of constant killing for each trophy until i got them all. I didn't have anything better to do, otherwise i wouldn't have bothered with this.

It's ridiculous the dyes you are rewarded count towards the "common" quality

What's so weird is that I had the same problem until the latest patch. Now for some reason It feels like the drop rate changed and it drops more frequently than before. Maybe it's just rng or maybe they tweaked it a bit.
I don't think these trophies should be that rare though.

I am an achievement hunter, I got almost all of them naturally just getting my other achievements, and then ground the remaining out after 1-2 hours of grinding a piece, if you know where to go. Only a couple took longer. They are not as bad as you think. Just highly annoying. And since then (that was over a year ago), even the ones I ground out have dropped for me ironically which made me roll my eyes lol.

Tried grinding for them. Gave up. Wasting hours mindlessly killing stuff in a game is not my idea of fun. I've also been playing for many years (since 2016) and I've done the main content several times over with many chars and also every zone including expansions and DLCs with my main. These being so rare is the thing in the game I understand the least. There is no reason why these shouldn't be a bit more common, if only so people who've been playing almost since launch haven't still gotten these achievements.

These achievements are part of the reason I stopped trying to get all achievements in the game... insane low drop rate and just a rage game...

I've played since beta and before I started grinding for them I didn't even had half of the achievements. So drop rate is sure really low.

Each trophy can take like 1-8 hours to grind. I guess you've to ask yourself if it's worth it. It's fully possible to just do something else you enjoy

i guess it's total RNG, since i completed most of them without even realizing it, and when i started to actively searching for them, it took only a few weeks (leads / rare recipes farming is much worse, imho)
