Weaving - LA then Skill or Skill then LA

Hi everyone.

Quick question:

I know the mechanics of LAweaving and the 1second internal cooldown of the game.

What interests me is. Do you press the skill then the LA, or the LA then the skill?

Since the Forum wont let me edit, sorry for posting another time directly after.

Another thing: Anyone has a Link to a current YTvideo or guide about Weaving? All I found are either so old they still have 13 CP-Levels, or are just not very good in terms of explanation.

Oh, and for PC please.

Light attack then skill. The skill cancels the animation of your light attack. It doesn't work the other way around.

Try it out yourself—it's easiest to see with an Inferno staff, I think. If you see a flame ball—that's weaving.

Thanks. What does he mean by "spamming"? Does it work if youre just hammering your light attack? I was under the impression you have to sync up the skills with the mouse-buttonpress.

Spamming means using a skill continuously, over and over.

I dont think he ment that. He said in the Video he spams his left mousebutton, not the skill.

I really dont get it with Staffs. It just doesnt look like in Videos. My character simply doesnt twitch the same way. plus when I spam lightattacks they just dont go off.

I wish there was a Video where someone shows his mouse and keyboardhands while LAweaving.

t3hasiangod left the game for the most part around 6 months ago which is a shame because he had great videos.

For reference I play console but I remembered see him talk about keyboard and mouse. Hope this helps you!

Spamm your light attack and whenever you see the little fireball from it press a skill. You are not meant to press them at the same time. Press the skill when you see the light attack animation starts and it should work
