FPS cap randomly removing itself

FPS cap is randomly set back to 0.000000 or whatever which unlocks the FPS completely at which point i need to set my fps cap again. and this has happened now more than 10 times already. i have now set the settings file to read only to avoid this from happening.

For me happened once after weird crash - game just closed and there was no crash popup. I have much more crashes since last update, but only once was my fps cap was messed.
