Back Bar Alternative for movement heavy fights

So for most fights I use Endless hail as my back bar dot to proc my weapon dmg enchant. But during some fights, the boss is constantly moving out of the AE and I am looking for alternative ways to keep the buff up. Would it be better to run Poison Injection or use Dual Wield with Blade Cloak?

Light attack weaving should proc the enchant without any dedicated skill needed.

That would only work if they are running the weapon enchantment on the front bar OR bar swap every 4 seconds...which is impratical af

as for OPs question

Poison injection(and single target dots in general) dosn't proc the enchantment from the dot, and while blade cloak is a net damage loss due to the reduced damage & losing out on the malestorm bow setup, it would at least actually work.

so, eaither re-fire the bow if the boss moves or run blade cloak as a small dps loss without having to recast every time the boss moves.

it's really a flavour/preferance thing at this point.

I might try using Blackrose Prison Dual Wield to help the loss from not having my Maelstrom Staff.
