Some people love CP 2.0, some others hate it, but I would guess that most people are somewhere in-between. Like me. I think that CP 2.0 could be great, if it was tweaked a bit. Please write your three most burning issues which implementation would make you happy with CP 2.0. My three cents are as follows:
1) Make all green stars passive,
2) Turn green slots into violet, which could be used for stars from any constallation,
3) Make one pool of CPs only, which could be distributed freely to any stars in any constallation.

1: Most of the green stars should be passives. All the incidental nodes like two furnishing plans, repairs, etc.
2: Change the sta/mag "on kill" to "on helped kill" for groupplay.
3: The 33% chance to not consume soulgem should be 100%, and the soul skillline should change the once per hour/two hours to 50% chance not to consume and 100% not to consume a soulgem. This way we do not have to use soulgems anymore, except for powering our weapon enchant. Rezzing already takes time, so there is no reason to have a soulgem cost. (Might even reduce serverload with all players no longer capturing souls constantly)
Other than that I am fine with the new CP system, I actually really like it!

If it were me in charge, I would have only moved the CP cap to say 12-1500 on patch day, and simultaneously changed to the new CP curve. I would have then been very clear to the playerbase about how often and by how much they planned to raise the cap until hitting 3600. As long as it was laid out with the new curve, I think they could have got to 3600 within a few years with some big moves each DLC.
I think this would have mitigated a lot of complaints. Its very easy to gain CP now. I am up 60 in a week, and other than 5-6 laps of skyreach to specifically level an alt, I have not done any straight grinding (i have been more aggressive than usual with Random Normals, but that is more about transmute than CP).

Honestly i find soulgems to be a pointless nod to previous TES games. They are fine for single player games but they are just a PITA in ESO. Soul gems add nothing of value to the game in their current state. They are not restrictive or rare. There is no reason to acquire them as you get more than enough in normal gameplay. They should just be turned into a novelty trash item at this point.
Then what am I going to do with the thousands of soul gems I get from killing bosses and doing writs?
Also, the repair one should be a slottable, since nobody is going to slot it anyway. I feel like the furnishing one should be slottable too. I picked 4 stars I wanted to use for each character and I'm set for now. But having a couple more of the green stars be passives would be very nice

Homemaker is a slottable. I have it on my alts as they're the ones usually out finding chests and other containers.

Yes, but the person I was quoting was suggesting that none of the green stars should be slottable, and I feel like there should be at least *some* choice we have to make.
Not "all"... I said "Most". And "all" incidental nodes. Big difference!Sylvermynx wrote: »
