Noticing how close the PC NA Gray Host campaign is this month - ends tomorrow. Should be some fireworks for the next 24 hours, every faction still has a chance.

AD was a safe bet a week out when purple died off and yellow was able to breathe.

for those on DC or EP furiously typing at there keyboard right now please don't, don't you find it strange that the campaign just took a turn all of sudden? did AD all of sudden get better?

nope

some specific DC players trash talked some EP players, and the EP decided to push DC in response, it was purely the result of a couple people talking trash. and so AD was allowed to breathe and hold the map despite previously being purpled to the point of having low pop bonus more often then not.

so if your DC and going "whuh happun?" when you were gated every morning a week out, your faction talked trash and paid the price, and by the end most decent DC were not even trying and just sitting at resources half a world away while there faction got gated.


that said im still happy AD won the first month of no crutch sets.

plus hanging around and watching AD's actually amazing response to the Fengrush zerg was great, feng and co. and the entire DC blob following them pushing the ring and AD just KEPT ON riding past them and flagging anything and everything they could while those defending fought tooth and nail to hold them back. watching him streak into the distance when the zerg left to go try and save home keeps never gets old.

Actually what happened is some DC guild(s) quit playing and so had no groups online for the majority of the day/night timezones leading up to the end

what happened was a bunch of DC guilds/groups stopped playing like 2 weeks before campaign ended ... but its all good

A lot of AD people played some crazy hours to make this happen. Holding off the **** nightcap every night is not an easy task, but AD pulled it off. Stoked at our win, and grateful to have such a great group of people to play with Good show all factions, that game was crazy close, and the race to win was incredibly fun. See you in this new month. What DC guilds quit playing? Did they quit for good , or until the no-proc test ends?
