How do I get my quick farming back?

Where the heck on the skill tree do I go to get my farming skills back? I have to hit the ore 2 times now, and gathering alchemy and clothing nodes is a pain in the aft. I have tried a lot of options...can someone just TELL me what to do?
And why the heck did you refund all the SKILL points? That made no sense. Thanks for dismantling my character and handing me the parts in a bag ZOS. OR should I say Microsoft.

Ebonheart Pact, Nord Templar/healer on NA Xbox server. My main toon WAS a tall and foxy redhead - now she has been gamma-irradiated and has green skin and black hair. 3 other characters I only use for writs. Can't be bothered to create multiple toons - EXCEPT now my WW is getting spooled up for Cyrodiil - Blood For The Pact! IRL cranky sometimes redhead chick at large in Las Vegas, NV

you need to slot them in the round icons on the top of the screen after putting points into them.

✭✭Unlock Master Gatherer, drag the star to one of the slot on the bar at the arrow and confirm (R).

✭✭✭✭✭Septimus covered the Master Gatherer part. Max that out to get back to your old gathering speed.
Skill points were forcibly refunded because they discovered that some people had skill points that were not normally obtainable. They had to refund all the points to correct the bug.1 -

Thank you for asking this question - this one was also confused a bit earlier but is glad to see there are more helpful folks on the forum than that not so helpful post about ‘reading more’.

They should have given it a title that actually covers the content. Since it's a matter of too many skill points instead of missing skill points...

no. i first read it it was confusing and overwhelming and found a post like this one which talked about adding active skill to the bar up top, quite by accident..

✭It should be the default farm gathering fastness not a advanced champion points skill.9 -

Change went through before Microsoft took acquisition. If you're going to get angry and shout at the sky, at least know which god to blame.1
