pelinals applitude.

So i've seen a form here a few days ago asking how to make this set current and usable again.

nowadays with stam/mag morphs the damage equalizer of pelinals is not as needed. most classes are a hybrid by nature. what they do lack is a good way to keep reosurces up in both pools.

as opposed to raw regens, which i feel would just outdo other sets as well as just being an overly used idea at this point. here is my take~

your heavy attacks restore 100% primary and 67% secondary. meaning when you do a heavy attack you now restore stamina AND magicka. 100% of 1, and 2/3rd that ammount goes to the other as well.

so if you restore 1,800 stamina from your heavy, you also restore 1,200 magicka. and vice versa.

Sounds interesting. Another way to do the same would be to let a resource proc off of landing a status effect. For example, tanks and DD would land a bleeding/burning/etc and it would proc the resource restore. A healer could proc the same resource restore when landing a mending effect. This way, healers and support aren't left out.

that would work very well in pve, maybe not so much in pvp. i think the fact you gotta do a heavy attack balances this out. becuase you have to stop dpsing in pvp or stop your rotation in pvp. in order to gai nthe benefits of this return.

I see what you mean. I guess I don't like breaks in the action, either in pvp or pve. But whatever happens, at least we agree that Pelinal's could use an improvement to stay relevant after CP 2.0.

    Suggestion for pelinal's:

5 piece: all of your skills which scale off offensive stats now scale off your highest offensive stat.

Basically make all of your skills that scale off mag or stam scale on the higher of the two, the way ultimate scaling is already handled.

It doesn't add power to your skills which use your highest offensive stat already, but it will add a lot of power to off-stat skills. Those skills would still be a limited by having a lower resource pool/recovery, but the added build diversity would be pretty cool.

fro ma pve perspective, again, yes. absolutly, it;s great!. pvp tho.. that opens up alot more healing options. stam dk with resto heals. no ty XD haha.

i love your idea too, maybe even more than what i suggested. scaling off of highest reosurces+ damage source. as opposed to just damage source. puts that set over the top. especially in 2.0 where getting 20k in your secondary stat reosurce is easy.

Add the NMA treatment, skills cost +5%?

Yeah because ZOS cares about crafted sets :(
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

increasing skill cost is counter productive of a set that would give resource returns. idk ;p
