Last night when fighting Ra Kotu in Hel Ra I couldn't help but notice, since I was playing on my Nightblade, the light attacks were incredibly sluggish. The stacks of relentless focus weren't building. This was on a bow/bow build that I play most of the time, and I can do the whole rotation in a blind and deaf state, which is basically what it feels like while a million sprites are lighting up the screen and the sounds of dozens of skills and mechanics are crackling in the headset. I had to slow down by more than 50% of the typical skill rate just to get light attacks to register at all. It happened again at each subsequent boss, but not quite as bad as the first boss. The skills were able to land every second if I sped up, but zero light attacks would land.
So why is it slowing down so much? I have a fairly new pc, FPS and ping seemed fine. Is it happening because of this dungeon, or is it a problem for bow builds? I heard other people complaining about sluggish bow light attack weaving on the ESOU pts discord. Or could it be prime time sluggishness? Or the amount of stuff processed in the surrounding area?
It's kind of a let down when it happens on my Nightblade since I can't proc assassin's scourge, it's like the only class truly penalized for missing light attacks, besides sorcs I guess
