I can't see any usability for Mist Form anymore

It's not just that they removed Health regen. PVP whiners did enough damage.

And not only that Stamina regen was also removed - cause stamina is needed too...

But no other way to heal, from abilities or proc sets ?

This has certainly returned to the junk that it was during the horrible years of Vampire 1.0. Least the drain is still functional and the vampire stage doesn't increase on its own.

But since it was completely screwed, why not give it a twist ? Make it STUN BREAKER. To be activated during a stun. That would at least give it some measure of functionality.

"Is it true her wounds healed on their own ? Yes" No s***, at 75% health regen penalty!

I was a vampire like you, but then I took an idea to the head...

Blood Mist is a thing you know plus it activates Strike from Shadows.

Don't give a damn about knowing a skill without any use. Just to have a colored square on a skill list. And it activates that only at Vampire Stage 2. Not that it would mean anything.

It still serves as a viable CC immunity tool, gives you 300 Weapon/Spell damage for 6 seconds everytime you come out of it, clears all snares and immobilizations with a flick, and acts as a form of Magicka block for Stam toons if you anticipate a big burst coming. See that Ice Comet ring activated on you with a Sorc staring you down? Hit mistform for 2 seconds and that Streak won't stun you and the Ice Comet will do less than 2K damage to you.

So yea it still has its uses but you can't cheese health recovery with a 75% damage modifier.

I hope they nerf mist form from 75 to 50%, mist form now is stronger than before even without health recovery

That would literally kill the skill. If you don't see that, then idk.

People like you requesting this are absolutely disgusting.

Please. Stop requesting to completely butcher a skill. The vamp line itself is already a joke within itself.

Also your logic of it being stronger now than before is absolutely just misinformation. It got nerfed last patch. It is not stronger than before.

Tired of ppl claiming eso endgame is pvp. No ESO endgame is what ever the hell you enjoy. If eso made pvp its endgame then it would be focused on. Instead uts more if a side activity fir those who want it. Besides out if all the complaints on here majority come from "pvpers" who refuse to kearn the game and want an "i win" button thus the devs maje needless changes to both pvp abd pve.

Mist Form was from the very beginning of Vampire 1.0 at 75%. And if I were to accept a nerf to 50% - which would make it on par with block - then some of the nerfs have to be reverted ; that is, revert the heal ability uses OR revert the Health Regen.

Why would I say that ?

We have block at 50%, but completely unmanageable in a zerg situation. Cost is unsustainable by any means. I don't do PVP but 600 x 4 would be 2.4K for a second of blocking. Block allows everything to work - sets, procs, heals. The only thing it doesn't protect from is AOE and some CC skills.

With a Mist Form at 50%, it would have the same strength, and it would also protect from AOE, while being maintainable.. Not exactly same strength, because it wouldn't benefit from passives and sets that specifically increase blocked amount.

But being able to maintain it would absolutely make it cool and viable, whereas block is not. However, one of the nerfs has to be reverted. Either Health Regen or heals from abilities/sets. Otherwise it's just dead in the water.

So in the end Mist Form could become an alternate form of block. One with a constant per second cost instead of a fluctuating cost depending on how many quarters of a second you get damage. For this advantage, it would be feasible to give up on some functionality, but not on all, as it is now.

Bottom line: Mist Form vampires were actually, silently, protesting against the wicked cost of Block.

I'm pure PvE and with new patch, mist form is out of control right now. 75%? No it's 100% at the moment, a heavy stomp from first boss in icereach that often hit me for over 1.000.000 dmg, now 0 dmg with mist form. If they dont nerf it 50% or 30%, soon everyone will get no death run in every trial and every dungeon

Well unfortunately PVE uses reverse damage. Mobs have special attacks. It reads your effective hp first and hits you fatally, instead of being set to certain damage values.

You were lucky in that instance, but there are bosses that kill you in Mist Form regardless of your health and Mist Form.

Mist form is a skill and to use it you have to accept penalties, block is not a skill. Moist form does not need to be like block.

Yes, you are unfortunately right. I observed this not just in ESO, but in Destiny 2 as well. When players talk or stream or put on youtube about a theorycrafting achievement, it gets nerfed. This is what they call balancing and it sucks the life out the game, by constantly destroying whatever players build.
