Seeing that U29 is a leveling update
it would be really nice if ZOS could significantly increase the droprate of Aetherial dust.
On PC EU they are selling at 700K gold on average up from 95K gold.
Mythic pots are simply unaffordable at 250K each

Hmm, Honestly, i don't think that's good..
It's natural that the aetherial dust prices would skyrocket with the addition of the C.P 2.0 system (people are looking to level up like crazy right now)
After some time the prices will drop again, sice the demand will become significantly lower after peoiple start reach the soft caps.

It's also a good oportinity for making some gold, even for new players.

Mythic pots are supposed to be that rare, just like the Cyrodiil 150% alliance skill boost drop. You aren't supposed to be running around with such strong boosts all the time. Do the content, enjoy the 2x XP events, and if you hunt nodes you'll get your boosts.

The current PC market for potions is just ridiculous hype, like the fight for toilet paper early covid.

It could use a nudge upwards, but not a major buff.

The real problem is the Cypher drop rate, which was obscene before XP became useful again, and now is... I don't know, whatever's the next awful step from "obscene."

Its technically been increased with the buffed Plentiful Harvest perk from cp tree as each time the perk triggers you loot the node twice aka double chance to find dust

Mythic pot costs less than dust itself?O.O

I think such a rarity makes the find more fun and adds an interesting, emotional choice. It is like looting Stone of Jordan in Diablo 2 .
Plus profit.

I think a bunch of people got the cypher during the anniversary event when it was dropping. I know I did.

Of course mythic pots cost less than dust because with your provisioning passives you can make 4 pots from one dust. Same story with Ambrosia and Perfect Roe

Prices in general are out of hand. But you have to figure that's what people are paying so that's what the market demands. I have around 70+ million gold and I still won't pay those prices. I simply don't like to support that kind of inflated market. Besides, a cheap 50% XP pot works just fine.

That being said, I'm all in for a bump in yields across the board.

You know there is a quality of life substitute on the crown store. I.E. don't hold your breath waiting for a drop rate increase.

150% scrolls? i know they drop from crates but where can I buy them in bulk from crown store
50% potion require an prefect roe, 100% require one 50% potion and an 50 writ vouchers ingredient and you are rolling in vouchers because you done hundreds of master writs.
Got 20 CP on my first writ burn, second will be during jester festival so 250%
Has 14 150% scrolls, they are reserved for writ burns and on an bank alt so they are not used by accident.

I've been farming every node in sight on multiple zones for hours at a time for weeks and I've found... two? Not only that, but with how expensive the Mythic Ambrosia recipe is, it's out of reach for most folks to be able to afford the quality exp boosts right at a time when most people need them. Honestly, I'm fairly sure that even with my measly two dust, I still likely have more than most people, and I'd be happy if they tanked in price just so more could afford them.

Not quite?

First the node dice rolls if you get the "extras" like housing mats, jewelry dust, worms, and in this case, Aetherial Dust.

Then, from the node behavior I'm seeing, each item dice rolls to see if Plentiful Harvest applies. If it does, then the item does a second dice roll on its loot table.

This why when you loot, say, Lorkhans Tears, you get 2 to 3 on a single node, but 4 to 6 on a doubled node.

So on the node where I got Aetherial Dust this week, I had the regular tiny chance to get it, but presumably a 50% chance to get it doubled. (Well, I say presumably, but when I track specific nodes like Lorkhan's Tears it's more like a 36% chance to be doubled.)

So its sort of like "2 times zero is still zero", in the sense that it's still a tiny chance, but if you get lucky, you've got a 50% or so chance to get really lucky.

When supply increase - final product price decrease

So I am asking to increase the droprate on Aetherial Dust to effect a decrease in the price of it's main peoduct atm which is Mythical Ambrosia. The 100% XP version sells for 15K ea. The 150% version sells for 250K ea.

This is grossly unfair on the low level player looking to level the massive gap between CP160 to CP3600. I am just below CP2000, it does not affect me, it DOES affect players simply giving up when they work out that they would have to level for an insane amout of time.

I think all detractive comments show either a lack of insight, compassion or the basic grey matter to understand that players that are above CP 1800 is a good thing for all of us.

I have played since console launch, I gather nodes as needed like everyone else. I have never found one. I can’t prove they exist in game. Rare is one thing. This drop rate is another level entirely. I would just like to see one.

After 1,5 year of playing ESO (is a quite hardcore fashion, many hours every day) I got 0 Atherial Dust drops. Zero. Null. Nada. And yes, same goes for gold imperial motif. I open every container and node because I'm a hoarder and yet after all thouse hours nothing. The drop rate is ludacris for both.

I got one Dust, during one of the crafting events where i do the dailies on 17 characters. It dropped on the second day. Recipe dropped on the first day.

I stopped doing the writs. I figured the game would explode if i got another shiney.

No, I will never use it or sell it. I keep it as proof that it exists.

Where do you farm? The Dust drops only in base game regions. I found 3 in the last 18 months and I don't farm a lot (4-10 hours a month).

The Imperial Motif has a high chance of dropping from psijic portals which spawn of runestone nodes in Cyrodiil
