Will swapping slotted CP perks cost gold?

I'm confused about whether it will cost a fee in gold to remove or equip CP perks in the bar at the top of the CP screen. I had assumed it will be free to change around which of our "must be equipped" CP perks are equipped, but when I swapped out the treasure chest perk for the fence perk the game warned me that I'd exited the CP screen without confirming my committed points-- even though I hadn't redistributed any points, just removed one perk from the bar and equipped a different perk. Once this "Heroes Reforged" mini-event is over, will swapping perks around cost gold just as though we were redistributing our CP points?

Nope. Reallocating point will cost gold (taking cp points from somewhere and giving to somewhere else), swapping perks on top bar is free.

Swapping slot requires a confirmation even if you didn't change any points. I don't know why it's like that, since it remembers what you slotted.

When you confirm the swap it's just a single click, unlike moving around CP points which warns you of the cost (it's currently 0 but the message is still there).
