Let's talk about Pledge of Mara rework

So in this update a lot of people leveling theirs CP and they want to do it faster. So maybe it's time to make a rework for the wellknown Pledge of Mara? Nowadays. it is a ring and this is ruin gear sets. So, maybe we can use another slot? Disguise or tabard, for example. So we can have gear sets and ALSO a exp buff.
What do you think?

Or just have 2 characters go to a Shrine of Mara, each player makes an Oath of Mara, selects the character they're making the oath to. If both characters choose one another, they now have a permenant buff that grants the Mara bonus. In the same way the ring works now.

Make it a costume shackle. And then it could have it's own 'chain rattling' sound effects.

I haven't thought about the ring of mara in years. It should be turned into a scroll that isn't consumed on use.

This is the objectively correct answer.

No need for the silliness of interrupted equipment setups or cosmetics.

If two players are married and they are in the same group - they should get the XP.

It's a fair trade-off, more xp and you just miss one set bonus.

I'd like to see some changes to Pledge of Mara.

In fact, I don't even care about the way they implement it. They can replace it with disguise/tabard/costume to make exp boost more passive. Or increase the boost to justify the loss of gear slot. Or even make a CP star which unlocks by acquiring Ring of Mara since we have CP2.0.

Currently, Pledge of Mara has no use other than pure RP purposes.

Do you mean you can pledge yourself to Character A to Character B of you own account?
Or would you need to have 2 separate accounts for this?

Except not. It costs crowns, its not free, so it should actually be useful instead of how it is now

Perhaps it's uselful to the people who use it? Just sayin.... Not everyone uses it for boosted xp

Keep the current mechanics the same, just remove the need for a ring. So two accounts. When you play together, you get boosted exp.

I think sure why not. ZoS should also make a separate romantic instance for people using the ring of Mara. That way they avoid those special people with their mud balls and leg bagging....sort of like dogs.
