Maintenance for the week of December 16:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – December 16
• NA megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)

Thanks for reducing the duration of No-Proc Cyrodiil from 6 months to 3 months

LoveForElderScrolls
A lot of people didn't want to play for six months. This decision helps them to enjoy PvP again sooner than expected. Thanks for this.

Great. So I dropped 300k+ when there was no response earlier, and changed 2 toons over.
    Guess I'll stop at that.

Wow, they genuinely listened to player feedback. I'll be honest, I had kind of resigned myself to 6 more months, but I'll take it. Now hopefully they'll start doing the same for issues in PvE.

why don't they add ingame feedback option for this kind of thing? they only listen to the forum?
i know they take decisions based on stats from actual players and not forum warriors, but when they say they listened to feedback, they only mean feedback from forum people, right?

they could send a mail or add a temporary section to the send feedback panel, in which you can reply once with answers like 1-5 with 1 being strongly disagree and 5 being strongly agree, or other common survey stuff like this.

The forum helps with awareness. Ultimately when the issue reaches streamers and more people they start to take notice.

There is a feedback option in game. On PC/Mac, type /feedback in the chat box. In gamepad mode, go to Help > Feedback/Bug.

This is how they work. I wouldn’t be so excited about this news. I’ve seen it in the past. Players grip and then they undo it but nerf the other side of the coin and it’s exactly the same but you got your wish.

Atleast we get three months of decent PvP.

Hopefully these proc sets get nerfed to just overland worthy.

It doesn't have to be just overland worthy. They just shouldn't be so much more damage/healing/whatever than a straight stat 5th piece would add that they are so far and away better. It was ok when you couldn't control if it when they go off, but as soon as it became a sure thing, it was an issue. They should have been looking at them for hen they did that.

So press 1-3 skills, & gain 1-3 free damage/defensive procs (non stat procs) in addition to the skills used, & that's ok if it's on chance? Still seems like a skill-less carry to me.

I'm not saying all sets classified as "proc" sets should be excluded, just the ones beyond stats.

Procs should not be buffed by malacath ring either, since they cannot crit. If something can't crit, removing crit isn't a drawback.

    Or, conversely, procs should crit.

yes and i thought it's clear i don't talk about that, so i repeat. Why don't they add ingame feedback option for this kind of thing ?
when they take decisions based on players feedback regarding to whatever, cp change, pvp, set overperforming, etc.
why don't they create a special category in feedback, which you can use once and replying to a question that's stated in this category. More not like a feedback, but a survey that you complete once for a specific subject.

This is common bussiness practice. where the company announces/releases somthing worse than intended. so when players argue against it, they move it back to the date they wanted it to be anyways. so the devs dont lose anything, and the players think they won somthing.

it's like when the head of a company hears about people wanting a 2 dollar raise. so he lwoers the average pay down to 9 from 10. then the protesting starts. and a week later the boss raises the pay from 9 ro 10.25. and the workers think "WOW, we did it! we got a 1.25! and im making more than i use to. when i nreality they could have had 12/hour as opposed to 10.25 an hour. the company effectively reduced the raises by 1.75.

Or the developers are getting the needed data in quicker than they anticipated and will be ready to implement any changes at the new date.

The game balance of Battlegrounds has improved and it has become a lot of fun.
So the problem with Cyrodiil is not in sets.
What's fine with ball group of 4 players, but problems with ball group of 12+ players.

now i state this not because i enjoy procs, but i enjoy the option of multiple set. personally i dont use procs. but i dont find them hard to counter. the only real impossible oens to kill are vampies with crimson. but thats more because of the msit move they use than crimson itself.

I give credit where credit is due. To this end:

    1) THANK YOU ZOS for making Major Gallop a passive. I know the update has been out for awhile now, but God I really can't thank you guys enough for fixing this. Rapids for me was almost utterly useless and most def a notable waste of my bar and made builds take longer trying to fit in something that I really didn't need, aside from mount speed, which itself was obviously crucial.

    2) THANK YOU ZOS for dialing back the 6 month window and allowing the community access to resume using proc sets in 3 months time instead. Regardless of the rhyme or reason behind it, I want to THANK YOU again for listening to all of us who objected to proc sets leaving Cyrodiil.

    3) Special THANK YOU for everyone in the community who held the line and did not give up on this issue so that all ESO players may be as free as possible to choose the build and style of gaming that they wish to play in ESO.
